Third POV:
"Uh kid?" Tony called out nervously.
Peter turned around to face Stark, his eyes wide in panic.
"Mr Stark! Oh god Mr Stark please don't go too! Don't leave me on this planet please! W-what about miss Potts?!" Peter stammered out frantically as he watched Tony's hands and feet begin to fade.
"I-I'm sorry kid, t-tell Pep I'm sorry too and tell her t-that I love her," Tony stuttered as he fell into peters firm chest, gripping his back and shoulders tightly.
And then he was gone.
"I-I will Mr Stark, I will..."

In another universe, it would have been Tony who had followed Nebula onto the ship to get back to earth. It would have been him who thought he was going to die alone in the spaceship with a scary blue lady. But it wasn't. It was Peter who had to suffer through the hunger pains and the loss, it was Peter who believed he would die when the oxygen ran out.
And when he was saved by Carol, he wasn't sure whether was glad or not.
The first thing he said to the avengers he that remained was, "I lost Tony."
Pepper had hugged him and told him it wasn't his fault but he couldn't help but disagree. He'd felt Tony turn to fucking dust in his arms and he didn't do a single thing!
He found out from Happy that his aunt May was thankfully still alive and so was Ned and Mj.
But there was one person, who he was SO thankful had survived. His long-term girlfriend, Madeleine Waters. She had beautiful blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She knew he was Spider-Man and still loved him even if he was always in danger and even she could be if someone found out. They'd met four years ago when they were 13 and had dated since they were 14. Maddie didn't attend Midtown as she wasn't very science crazy like him but she went into business studies.
None of the avengers, Pepper or Happy even knew about her and were incredibly shocked when she ran over and promptly kissed him. They watched as she talked him through a panic attack and assured him it wasn't his fault. It was honestly like looking at a younger version of Tony and Pepper and that sent a pang of sadness through them all.
She even had the light hair and blue eyes like Pep, whilst he had the dark hair and brown eyes like Tony.
