Chapter 12: Everything I need

A/N: I'm sorry for these annoying authors notes, but this wait was probably the worst ever since I haven't updated in like what...three months?! I'm going to try to write every Saturday now, so the next update should come in 2 weeks since next week I will update Pokemon City. I hope this chapter was worth the wait. 

Moving day was there. The boxes that had made new walls in their apartment, were now coming down. There was almost no furniture, and Hoshi had to sleep on the floor and not on her couch where she had been sleeping for years. Raiden and Mizu were playing, and Mizu kept using Scald and spraying water in his face. Raiden was using Volt Switch on him back. This was just a friendly battle, and they often did this to each other. Raiden was walking backwards toward Hoshi, and knocked over a box.

"Careful you two! You're going to squash me soon!" she said.

"Sorry Hoshi," said Raiden, barely paying attention to her.

Hoshi sighed, "You two are such idiots sometimes." Then she looked at the box that Raiden had just knocked over. There was a picture frame in it. She picked it up with her ribbons. The picture was of her and Sara, only Hoshi was an eevee at the time. Sara's hair also was not pink yet, so it was a very old photo. This was the time Hoshi had all her undivided attention. The both of them had moved into this apartment together.

Hoshi looked back into the living room, and then outside the screen door. She remembered when Seika first arrived, the second eeveelution Sara had, and how furious Hoshi had been. Then Mizu and Mirai came together, then Raiden. Yuki came next and she and Hoshi became friends. Haruki was rescued from a bad home and then Hooman adopted Sakura...then Kage was last. Hoshi remembered when she first met Hiro when she first ran away from home. She remembered the nights they spent together, all the friends she made. She remembered all the arguments she had with Kage with his ruby eyes glaring at her the entire time. She remembered the energy and the motivation it took to save him from Yami, and the next day when she and Kage unleashed their passion for each other for the first time.

There were too many memories. It seemed like there were more awful ones than the good. Hiro had forgotten about her, Kage loved someone else, and Hoshi just wanted to live somewhere else where less chaos was bound to happen. She looked at her old home for the last time, then told her mind to let it all go.

In the pick up truck the eeveelutions went, along with Niko. They traveled across town to the city where the beach was. The eeveelutions have never gone this far away before, maybe Hoshi and Haruki had, but the rest of them never. They came to a large modern house, with windows that stretched from the ground to the roof. Hoshi gasped, this new home was better than she could imagine.

The backyard was also fantastic, with plenty of room and some woods as well. There was room for everyone, and if Sara and Randi wanted to adopt more pokemon, there would be room to do so.

They entered the empty house together. "Whoa! This is amazing!" said Hoshi hearing her own echo. The immense light inside the room consumed her soul, she was safe from the outside world but could see everything to the fields in the distance.

"Yeah I agree," said Kage's voice. Hoshi gasped since she wasn't expecting anyone to respond to her. Then she walked away slowly, but she didn't know why. "What wrong?" he asked.

"Huh?...Nothings wrong, I'm just fine," said Hoshi, then she ran into a different room. She didn't want to be seen with Kage, especially when Mirai was around. Mirai could have known their secret anyway with her ability to read minds. After Hoshi ran out, Kage just shrugged. He then walked to Mirai, who was gawking at the ornate ceiling of their new house.

"Isn't it amazing? We're rich now. We have everything we need and want." said Mirai.

"Yeah..." said Kage a bit weakly.
