The next day, Hoshi woke up in the same spot on her couch, which was her spot. The sunlight began to creep through the window. She was barely awake when she heard Seika screeching. "MIZU!!! QUIT WITH THE WATER!!" Mizu the Vaporeon, had poured a glass of water on Seika's face to wake her up. He laughed. Seika got up and started chasing him around. Haruki was sleeping on the floor in the middle of the room. Mizu jumped over him and Seika tripped over him and woke him up. "Haruki, help me get Mizu!" she said.
"What?" said Haruki, barely awake. Then he woke up and saw Mizu hiding under the couch, Mizu growled at him. "Aahhh!" shrieked Haruki as he ran up the stairs to Hooman's room.
Mizu laughed, "He's scared of everything."
Haruki was still hiding while Hooman was getting ready for the day. She was drying her hair with the hairdryer, which also scared Haruki, but it wasn't as scary as his friends sometimes. Haruki sometimes felt useless, his trainer didn't take him out a lot to challenge other pokemon, or out in general. Hoshi almost never scared him, but when she was intending to scare someone she could be scary. Also, the thought of the new umbreon in the house gave him the jitters. He thought umbreons were scary, he thought all eeveelutions were scary.
"Haruki!" said a sweet voice.
"Aah!" he said surprised as he turned around.
"Haruki-Chan! Do you want to play?" it was Sakura, the eevee.
"Oh no." said Haruki . "What's wrong?" asked Sakura sweetly. What was wrong was that even a cute little eevee could scare Haruki.

Yuki had some frozen carrots for breakfast. She straightened her blue bangs making sure they were perfect. After she was done with her carrots she went into the bathroom and jumped onto the sink, then she looked in the mirror. Yuki groomed her light blue fur until it was perfect, her shiny blue crest on her head was sparkling like crystals. Then she went to her best friend Hoshi who was sitting on the couch. Hoshi was drinking water out of a soda can Hooman had left. She was using her ribbons to do so. Yuki was fascinated how Hoshi could move her ribbon-feelers around. She went up to her friend and said "Hey Hoshi, how do you pick stuff up with your ribbons? I have something similar and I can't move them," she asked.
Hoshi thought about the question for a minute then said, "I don't know, at one point I couldn't move my ribbons, then one day I did and thought about it really hard, then I practiced a lot and now I can do anything with them," she said trying to remember how she mastered this skill.
"I'm sure you can do it too," said Hoshi. Yuki looked at her "feelers", curious at what she could do with them, she knew that she wouldn't be able to do as much as Hoshi, but she thought it would be cool to pick things up easily. Hoshi put the soda can down. "Here, try picking it up with one of your-uh bangs." she said not knowing what to call them. Yuki took one of her feelers and tried to connect her brain with moving it. She picked up the soda can with her right feeler. "Wow! You caught on quickly." said Hoshi.
"I'm a fast learner," chuckled Yuki, glad that she could now pick things up like a sylveon.
Kage, the umbreon, was sitting behind the TV. He didn't know what he thought of his new home. The trainer and the eeveelutions seemed nice, or at least bearable, but it was definitely a step up from where he used to live. His old trainer didn't love him, and the other pokemon there didn't like him, except for a Houndoom which he sort of missed. What he missed more was his family, his sister Shizuku who was a glaceon, and Akari who was a shiny sylveon he once loved. He had a good home with them before he was taken from them.
