As the doctor arrived, YooHan left Yeonwoo inside his room, letting the old man checking him. He went to the office of the governor, he found him worried as well.

"Do you think that we should contact his family?" the governor asked

"Yes... I will make sure that his cousin receives a telegram as soon as possible, but I don't know if we should take him back to Hanyang or if it is better for him to stay here.... what do you think sir?" YooHan asked him

"I suppose that we should let him decide... or at least we should wait for his cousin to respond and see what happens, a servant will show you the way to the telegraph office, see you later" the governor said going back to his work.

YooHan thought about Yeonwoo's words while he was walking to the office, why was he so in pain? Didn't he receive the message from Ha Neul like he did? Well... sooner or later this was going to get cleared.

"May I have a piece of paper?" YooHan asked as he reached the office, the employee gave him a sheet and a pen, he sat down and thought about the correct words to use, he didn't want Ha Neul to worry too much but he surely knew that he had to make it look like a serious situation.

"Oh, lord Go, I couldn't imagine I would have found you here" Ha Neul said entering the office.

"Ha... Ha Neul... what are you doing here?" he asked shocked

"My brother didn't respond to the telegram I sent a week ago, I can't deny that I was worried, since I'm not poor I decided to come here and check him myself, have you already seen him?" Ha Neul explained calmly.

"Please follow me" YooHan said with a serious tone, they went on the main road and walked for a while, then YooHan told her to turn and they reached a silent place behind a shop.

"Milady... please tell me, what did you really mean with that telegram?"

"YooHan please don't..."

"I need to know! Yeonwoo is in pain because of it, please tell me... why did you choose to marry me anyway?" he asked again

She sobbed for a moment, hiding her face with a fan, then she looked at him with red eyes and eventually managed to talk.

"Fine... I want to see my cousin happy...you're such a kind heart, marrying you will mean a calm life for me... and a way for YeonWoo to live his life with the man he truly loves"
