Chapter 2

A week has passed, and I became friends with most team members pretty quickly. I also started to tease Tsukishima and Kuroo a bit, mostly Tsukishima. It was little things at first like calling Tsukishima "Tsukki". Teasing Kuroo was a little difficult, though, because he always ended up having a comeback, took it as a compliment, or didn't seem affected.

This week, I decided to do the "I like your cut G!" challenge. I started with Hinata and Noya to get it over with. I really didn't want to smack them, so I just tapped them on the head. I did one member of each team for a day. Doing the challenge for Tsukki and Kuroo was a challenge because of their height, and I didn't want to make Kenma mad at me so I waited for the last three days.

It was the end of practice. I decided Kuroo would be the first of the last three. Since he's nine inches taller than me, I had to jump up to reach his head. It was a good thing I picked up some things from Hinata on jumping higher. Kuroo was walking to the gym door when I snuck up behind him. I jumped, said the line, and smacked the back of his head. There was a pause as he set his bag on the floor. I felt a little scared at the silence. Then he turned to face me and started to chase. I felt like I ran for my life. Damn was he fast. It didn't take long for him to catch me by my arm. I shut my eyes and covered my head with my free arm. He let me go, but he said he'll get me back for that later. We headed back to our dorms and I found out Kuroo stayed in the dorm across from Kenma's, so we walked to our dorms together with Kenma.

When we reached our dorms, I opened my door to go inside, but Kuroo suddenly stepped in front of me. I felt a little shock as he looked down at me and smirked. His height made him look more intimidating. Suddenly, he bolted into my room, grabbed most of my video games, and bolted out into his room, shutting the door behind him.

"Hey! What the fuck, Kuroo?!"

I ran to his door and tried to open it, but it was locked. I banged on the door and kicked it in frustration as I heard the sounds of one of the video games start to play. I looked to Kenma for help, but he quietly retreated to his room. He clearly didn't want to be a part of this.

"Kuroo, open the door! You're gonna mess up my progress!"

He replied in a teasing tone, "Oh, really? Wouldn't want that, hmm?"

I continued to bang on the door until he opened it. He chuckled and gave a smile when he saw how red my face was.

"What's wrong, Chibi-chan? I told you I was gonna get you back earlier."

He tried to pat my head, but I tackled him out of the way, grabbed my games, and stomped back to my dorm, slamming the door behind me. My glasses were fogged up a little, but it didn't mess up my vision. After I calmed down a bit, I turned on my console and checked the games to make sure Kuroo didn't change anything.

The next day I chose Tsukki to be my next target for the challenge. He is also a lot taller than me, but this time I couldn't reach his head when I jumped, so I had to use a different tactic. He was standing nearby as I grabbed the step ladder to start putting away the net. He wasn't standing that far. He either didn't seem to notice me or ignored me like usual. I got ready to jump as he turned away, giving me a clear shot. Everyone else knew what was going to happen. Earlier that day, I asked Noya and Hinata to help me escape into the hallway since I knew I was going to need help for this one. Noya liked the idea and agreed immediately, and Hinata hesitated for a second, but agreed because he wanted to help me out.

I jumped, and smacked the back of Tsukki's head as I said the line. I unintentionally grabbed his goggles, but it reduced his chances of catching me. Noya and Hinata opened the doors as we bolted through, closing the doors behind us. We soon found out that we needed to switch to plan B since Tsukki was still able to fly open the doors and continue chasing us. We turned around the corner and ran into the janitor's closet in a panic. We sat in the confined place, our hearts thumping as a shadow came across the beam of light under the door. The door flew open and Tsukki stood tall in the doorway. He gave a terrifying aura as he towered over us.

"Looks like the Shrimp's whimpering gave you away."

Noya and Hinata dashed out and passed Tsukki. I tried running after them, but I felt Tsukki grab my arm and shove me back into the closet.

"Give them back."

I tried to dash away again, but he put his arm in the doorway and held out his other. A chill ran down my spine.

"Goggles. Now."

I tensed up at his seriousness. It was as if he would kill me for them. I tossed him his goggles and ducked under his arm, running to my dorm. I didn't stop until I reached my door because of the feeling he was still behind me.

I left Kenma as the last person for the challenge. After practice ended, I was sitting on the bench while Kenma was talking to Kuroo about today's practice. I took this as an opportunity and snuck up behind him. Kuroo gave me a quick glance and started to smirk as he started talking.

I said the line and swung my hand towards Kenma's head. He turned away and dodged my hand. I was barely able to brush the ends of his hair.

"What the- But, how?"

Kenma chuckled lightly.

"It wasn't unexpected. Besides, Pudding, you've done it to every person on the team, so it was pretty easy to catch on."

Kuroo chuckled and Kenma looked at me with a slight smile. I glared at Kuroo. He was probably the one that gave me away when he glanced at me. He backed away and smirked.
