CRACK

I hear the sweet sound of ribs breaking underneath my fist. The man falls to the ground in pain, clutching his chest.

"Who is he!" I scream at him. He looks up at me with the irregularly blue colored eyes and starts to laugh but coughs up blood instead.

"I'll never tell you," he spits out onto my shoes. "I would never betray him." I kick him in the ribs and he rolls over groaning. I pick him up by the back of his shirt collar and spin him around to face me.

"Who do you work for? TELL ME!" I scream.

"Never." He grits back and I shove him onto the floor, his head snapping back hard. My foot plants it's self on his neck and I start to push down. He begins to struggle underneath the weight and claw at my foot. I loosen up a bit. He gulps in the newly discovered air.

"Tell me or this time I may not be as forgiving." I say harshly.

"He'll kill me if he finds out I told you..."

"Probably but we can try to give you protection if, and only if, you tell me who you are working for." I say gently

He looks up at me with scared eyes and the blue color starts to fade away to a chocolate brown.

"I need you to promise to protect my family as well. They have to be safe!"

"We can arrange that."

"He's not of this world." He starts, "he comes from somewhere else."

"Oh wonderful, an alien! I think you hit your head a little too hard there buddy." I say sarcastically

"No, you don't understand! He--"

"I don't understand!!" I scream, "You don't understand that I just need a name, not a backstory! Tell me his name! WHAT IS HIS DAMN NAME!!"

He cringes at my screaming but finally speaks, "Loki," he whimpers, "His name is Loki."

I step back and suck in a deep breath. Shit. I turn around and start walking.

"Fury," I start, putting my fingers to my right ear, "we've got a problem."

"What kind of problem?"

"Your favorite Asgardian is back." I smirk, "Loki. He's here."

I hear a sigh from the other end. I can imagine the look on his face and him shaking his head in worry.

"Get back here as quick as you can-"

"There's something else, my--contact wants protection for him and his family. We gotta get him back to base real quick, send a fast one."

"A jet on the way, stay with him until it gets there. And agent?"

"Yes?"

"Don't do anything stupid!"

I smirk, he knows me too well.
"No promises."
