"Nana! Look at my flower crown! Me and my classmates made it!" Your four-year-old self ran towards Jaemin who was sitting under the cherry blossom tree with his eyes closed. The two of you didn't belong in the same class that's why you had other friends aside from him. When you reached his spot, you shook his shoulder, forcing him to open his eyes. Even when you interrupted his nap, he still didn't get angry with you.
"What is it?"
"Look at my flower crown!" You twirled around to show off your flower crown made up of pretty flowers of varying colors. Of course, it was beautiful but knowing Jaemin's nature, he decided to tease you.
"No, it's not. It's ugly," he said with a straight face. You instantly stopped acting cute when you heard his answer. Jaemin was one to shower you with compliments so hearing him disagree made your eyes water. In an instant, your tears cascaded down your plump cheeks and you sobbed.
He was flustered when he saw you crying so he got up to his feet to comfort you. Teasing you was a bad idea after all.
"I hate you!" you cried.
"No, I'm sorry. I was just teasing you. You look pretty and your flower crown is pretty. It suits you well."
"Then why did you say it's ugly?!"
"I was just teasing you, I'm sorry. I won't do it again."
"I still hate you, Nana..."
"If I buy you marshmallows, will you not hate me?"
Nana was smart enough to bribe a fatass like you who was ready to trade anything for food.
"Chocolate, too," you added.
"Okay, okay, marshmallows and chocolates and then we're good again."
"Thank you Nana! You're the best!"
Nana only smiled, pretending that you just didn't tell him you hate him ten seconds ago. The two of you walked together to the store to buy marshmallow and chocolate.
"Damn it, (Name)! Please get out of my head," he silently begged as he buried his face on the soft pillow. It was another sleepless night for him and his head was throbbing in pain as usual, but it became more unbearable because he couldn't get you out of his mind.
His plan hadn't even started yet you could potentially destroy it.
All he ever wanted was to become a normal Na Jaemin. Not Nana, not a son of some prominent public figure.
His phone vibrated on the smooth surface of his dark oak wood bedside table. With a grunt, he reached for it and looked at the caller ID. It was his best friend from South Korea, Lee Jeno.
Lee Jeno and Na Jaemin were classmates since Jaemin moved in to South Korea. Jeno had a patient of a saint to become Jaemin's friend and endure the sudden shifts of his personality. From being extremely talkative to not talking at all, there's no in between. He would just stand there with his trademark eye smile.
Lee Jeno resembled a samoyed, according to Jaemin. But despite his gentle face, he's buff and very manly.
"What is it, Zeno Lee?" Jaemin asked as he lazily put the phone on his ear.
"Good morning to you, too." He heard a chuckle from the other line.
"What do you want?"
"I prepared a huge surprise for you!"
Jaemin clicked his tongue. "That better be a good one. I have an orientation today at my new school."
"You'll thank me forever for this surprise, trust me. What time are you going to be in your school?"
