(Episode 722 - 723)
Once Shiori took Haibara inside professor's house, telling her not to let Amuro see her, she went back outside to check on the other kids.
She wasn't surprised to see Amuro already defeated the two delivery men and tied them using a duct tape and the children were all standing behind him.
"But nii-san's amazing too!" Genta exclaimed.
"You looked at the code on the receipt and came here, didn't you?" Mitsuhiko asked.
"Oh? That weird receipt in the cat's collar got blown away by the wind and I couldn't find it." Amuro lied.
Shiori pouted.
"Then why is nii-san here?" Ayumi asked.
"I just happened to drive Shiori-san home. She lives on that mansion."
"Eh? No fun."
He just smiled and walked back to his car, Shiori following after him. "What is it?" He asked as he opened the door and saw Shiori stood beside him.
She placed a hand on her mouth, in case the children are looking at them and knowing Conan he'll be able to read lips. "You just want to hide that you used your authority as a police to track this van, don't you?"
Amuro was surprised, he hasn't told her anything, yet she already figured out, how? "W-what do you mean?" He asked, scratching the back of his head.
"Then forget what I said." She smiled and looked at the children who were staring at them. "Would you like some brownies?"
"Yes!!!" The children agreed while Conan was glaring at her, obviously curious about what she just whispered to Bourbon.
"I'll just get it inside the mansion, you guys should get inside professor's house." Shiori instructed to the kids before walking back to the mansion.
Amuro was followed her figure before he got inside his car and drove away. How did she knew? Maybe, she remembered what happened years ago on the convenience store?
Once Shiori closed the door and took off her shoes, she immediately crouched down and completely ruffled her hair, I messed it up. Now, Amuro will get curious how I knew that he's a police!
"What are you doing?"
Shiori looked up to see Subaru, crossing his arms on his chest. "Nothing." She stood up and acted naturally, walking to the right to get the brownies from the kitchen.
"Wait."
Like a guilty soldier, Shiori turned and faced Subaru who now looks intimidating. "Why were you with Furuya?"
