"Shiori-san, between Heiji and Kudou-kun, who do you think is the better detective?" Kazuha asked.
The woman glanced on the rear-view mirror to see Conan and Heiji stare at each other, she smiled.
"I don't know." Shiori answered while her eyes are on the road, "Why don't we ask Conan-kun?"
Bias. Heiji wanted to yell but he just bit his tongue and glared at Conan.
Conan grinned, "If you ask me, I think it's Shinichi-ni-"
"No! That's wrong! Nobody's greater than me except that detective four years ago."
"What do you mean, Heiji?" Kazuha asked leaning over to look at her childhood friend.
"Remember, that ski resort we went during middle school, the case where that actor Minowa died." Heiji told her.
Four years ago? Ski resort?
It wasn't only Shiori who was trying to remember but Ran and Kazuha as well. It was Ran who remembered something first, "That case that looks like a suicide and there's a bag filled with snow beside him?"
"Yes! That's it!" Kazuha yelled. "Areh, wait, were you there, Ran-chan?"
"Yes, that's the time Shinichi keeps running around the hotel."
Heiji looked shocked and slowly looked back at Conan who was grinning, "What did you say earlier, Heiji-niichan?"
"That's unfair!" Heiji leaned forward to yell just inches away from Shiori's ears, "You knew about that didn't you?!"
"I swear, I didn't." Shiori just laughed it off seeing the boy's irritated face.
"Also, Shinichi-niichan solved the case first before Shiori-neesan." Conan added, this time irritating Shiori.
