It had been nearly ten minutes since Izuku left Mei and the latter was starting to freak out. The uncertainty of both the people she loved was driving her mad and all of Nezu's tea did little to calm her raging imagination, which for once was working against her.
Though when Mei's phone went off it was both a blessing and a curse, first Mei was overjoyed to see who messaged her but on the other hand she'd been so shocked she'd thrown her teacup into the air, which Nezu luckily caught and was now fawning over.
Mei chuckled before checking her phone.
Izuku direct message
Mei :Izuku
Mei: IZUKU ARE YOU OK, IS RAI OK, ARE YOU BOTH ALIVE?
Sorry to disappoint, it's Venom not Izuku :Izuku
But both are ok :Izuku
Mei: Thank Rai
Mei: Wait what happened, why is Izu not messaging me?
Long story short, we found Rai close to dying, the shock and infection from the wound got him. The kid used me to heal him but in the end she collapsed from the stress :Izuku
Mei: Oh... so she's ok?

Mei: And Rai?
Alive but still branded :Izuku
Mei: So WHY haven't YOU fixed it? :)
Ah- well you see... I have a perfectly good explanation for that :Izuku

If we remove the brand and they come for Rai again, I'm not sure he'll survive another branding :Izuku
