The young boy trudged along the snow covered track, He shivered, and it was not from the cold. He had the feeling he was not alone, He heard rustling in the trees behind him. He stopped and his eyes searched for anything that could have made the sound, He found nothing. He kept walking, Now the rustling was getting louder, He couldn't help it, He whimpered out loud. He was terrified, Certain of only one thing, He was being followed. He broke into a run and then a sprint, but there was no escaping it. No matter how fast he ran the rustling was still there, Getting closer and closer. The rustling was all around him now, He started yelling for help even though he knew nobody would hear him. Suddenly he felt a burst of pain on his left leg, Causing him to trip and fall over. He could not get back up. He looked around trying catch a glimpse of anything but it was so dark all he could see was the reddish moon and the white snow. The rustling was gone now, It was just him and the night. That was when he felt it. It was like his whole body was being boiled alive, the pain was unbearable until all at once it vanished and he was on all fours. He looked down to see paws and muscular legs with fur on them, But they were not human legs. They were the legs of a wolf. He turned around to see his shredded clothes on the floor. Just as he was about to run off in fear a foul smelling bag was forced over his head. That was the last thing he remembered before he passed out, That and the muffled words "Welcome to the pack, kid."
