Cassy's POV
"BREEENNNN" I keep shouting, I know he is out there somewhere and I will find him. I know that I hurt him and I want to apologise to him, Whether I want to admit it or not, I have feelings for him and really I had never felt this way about anyone before. I had had crushes and all, sure, but this this was something far more intense. The way I yearned for him when he was gone, The way he was always on my mind, Night and day. I have known it since the moment I saw him in the forrest earlier in the year, Was that even him? I question myself, Is it even Bren in charge when he is like that? Ok, I wont lie, I am so scared right now I honestly can't even begin to explain it, But that will not stop me. "BRRREEEENNNN" I shout again, determine to not give up.
Bren's POV
I hear her calling and I am running in the opposite direction. I know she is my mate but that doesn't change the fact that she is a human and I am not. Even though I have feelings for her I ignore them, I can't be with her there is too much of a risk for her getting hurt or her suddenly turning on me and going around telling everyone. She is my mate and nothing will ever change the way me or my wolf feels about her but she is human and humans break hearts all the time. That is a risk I am not willing to take, To have my heart broken just because I am willing enough to open up to them and to give them my love. Just then, I hear a different kind of calling in my head, Bren, Go to her, Turn her, Bring her to me. It is the call of my Alpha, I have to obey no one can resist even the strongest of minds, Yet I still try. I can feel myself shifting, Noooo I wail silently in my head as I begin to sprint forwards, Towards Cassy.
