DISCLAIMER: This is simply a work of fiction using real people as references. I would never push a relationship and/or sexuality on any of these people. I'm not implying that any of the relationships and scenes in this work are real. It's just for fun, and just fiction.

intro.

Jungwon likes to think he's a good leader.

People tell him that all the time. That no matter how young he is, he's perceptive and learns quickly. So he let himself accept that. Prided himself in how quickly he'd attained his leader front.

One of the things he thinks he excels at is reading his members. He can tell when Sunoo's actually upset or just being dramatic, when Ni-ki's homesick, and when Heeseung's stressed. He notices every little thing, and jots it all down in a mental notebook so he can compare and find odd behavior. When something's off, or just different, he notices.

He noticed when Jake and Sunghoon started dating, even when they didn't tell him. And he helped them out in small ways, a tap on the shoulder when they were being a little too flirtatious in front of the wrong people, wordlessly fixing his hyungs' hair and collars before anyone else could notice after they came back from one of their "walks". And when they had finally told everyone, they made sure to tell him yet again that he was a great leader, that he took care of everyone perfectly.

That's why finding the letter was so surprising. Because if he truly was a great leader, Jungwon feels that he should've known.

Aforementioned letter was a love letter in Jay's handwriting, addressed to "My Dearest", whoever that was. Jungwon didn't understand how he could've missed it. With the looks of the letter, Jay was in deep. And somehow, Jungwon didn't notice.

Jungwon skimmed the letter, which was quite lengthy, looking for some indication as to who it was for. If he could figure that out, he could figure out the rest of it, and in no time he'd be back to his "Amazing Leader" status. Not that he cared much about that specifically. He just cared about his members, and being aware of what was happening with each (to some level) meant being able to help them, and stop disasters from happening.

The leader let out a strangled sigh of frustration as he finished the letter. Not that it was bad, the entire piece captured Jay's charm and cheesy pick up lines very well. But through the entire fifteen paragraphs he'd written, Jay had failed to mention any names or physical features except dimples. Dimples.

It could be about anyone, Jungwon thought as he leaned back in Jay's desk chair. A stack of papers, likely the one the letter had fallen off of, caught his eye, sitting in the corner of the desk. Jungwon reached out a hand, then immediately caught himself. What was he doing? It was much smarter to be upfront and ask Jay about it some other time instead of snooping around his stuff. Reading the letter had already been an invasion of privacy.
