Chapter 8: Family Vacation
(Percy Pov)
After I told to mom that I will leaving soon for a quest and going to live on Olympus she just accept it but I saw to her face that she is sad to hear that. But she just smiled and goes straight to the kitchen. And after mom cleaned the table she ordered us to go sleep.
I wake up early exactly 5:00 am It just not me but I want to know if mom is alright. I go out in my room when I saw mom cooking blue pancakes.
"Hey Honey you awake" mom said and smile "Are you having nightmare again" she asked worried
"No mom I didn't" I answered but the truth I'm having another one.
There's a girl will come to the camp half blood, she is half blood like us. And then it change I saw Clarrise and a blond girl fighting a Cyclops and hellhound when Tyson came and my dream end. I did not know what means of that nightmare.
"Okay" mom said and gave me plate "After you eat you, me and Grover will going somewhere" she said happily
"Where ?" I asked
"On the beach" mom said. And Grover wake up and sit, start eating
"So we are going to the beach" Grover said while his mouth full of food
"Yes Grover and don't speak while your mouth is full" I said
"When you Perce became mature" Grover said
"Just eat" I said
"After that pack some things we need and I while packing some foods" mom ordered
"Yes we are having Family Vacation" Grover said happily
A Family Vacation that's great to have me, mom and my best friend will have time to bond while we have time. After we eat breakfast mom started packing foods and everything we need and when we done we leave and go to our destination.
When we reach there we go straight to the beach. I saw mom full of happiness in her face but I know it will never last. It's hard to leave her alone I don't want but I need too. But I must think first this moment and make sure mom will be happy before I leave.
