Sean didn't dare to look at me in the eye now. He looks a little strange..sort of tired.
"I...I miss you too, (Y/n)."
His voice sounds different too. Less Irish, more low.
My lips couldn't stop shivering. "You need to get your ducks in a row. I can't stand to see you going through things like this." He grabs my hand for a second but then he puts it back where it was. "I will, I swear on my life I will. I can not put Severus in danger again. Can we talk?"
He sighs, standing up. "No, we can't."
"Is it because I'm a liar?"
"How do I know you're not lying?"
I had to smile at that response that left his mouth a second after my own comment. He's been waiting to say that for a while. "You were right ok. I'm a teenager and I make dumbass mistakes. I admit I did make poor choices and I hurt you, but I'm not that girl anymore. You look at me right now and tell me I'm lying."
Our eyes could pretty much commence a light saber battle by how hard we're studying each other. Sean's looking for me to break, and I'm looking for him to say he can't tell. "When I tell you I don't want to lose you, do you see a liar, Sean? Would I tell anyone about my past?"
"Are you trying to guilt-trip me?"
"The reverse psychology is getting to ya."
He chuckled, biting his bottom lip but still looked at me. I saw his foot tap a little. "No I dont think you would say things like that to anyone. I can't go back to you when you're trying to figure out who you are. You're in the way of yourself and you get upset when I correct you. Work on that."
I watched as he slid on his jacket, "By the way I'm Severus's guardian until you get better."
"Wait what?"
Sean picks up a paper that lays in a file. "You've been reported for attempted suicide around a minor. Since I was the last adult seen in a relationship with you in public I'm taking him with me and Mark." He said with a serious expression.
This boiled my blood. "I didnt report you. The cops did, I was told about it shortly before coming up. So that means you will have your brother back when you're sober."
I sit up on my bed instantly regretting it because it pulled on my IV. "We're not even together! And you're lying." I yelled at him. "You think I did it? I'm trying to help you, let yourself be helped that's another major problem."
I wish I could boil this guy so he'd become a baked potato. "See you in the state finals, Celesté."
"Yeah you bet your fucking head you WILL."
With my arms crossed, I slouched back. A nurse came in a minute later to check my fluids mentioned that my report would pass if I showed signs of a health early. Basically I need to get tested every 2 days for any substances. And I can not visit Severus until the doctor checks me out on the 5th which is torunament day.
At home I kept in schedule with my detox methods for at least 3 days. The nurse came in to do a check up then leave. This gave me time to focus on streaming. I haven't done it in a hot minute.
So I sat down, turned on my monitor and waited for my camera to focus. "How's it going gamers? I'm Celesté! I know its been a long time since I've spoke to you guys but I just have to tell ya. Its been a wild ride."
The chat began to take off with comments by people sending their love and support. Of course came the comments of the fall of Celestéye. I haven't heard that ship name in a bit. I haven't said Jack shit about us breaking up so I assume Sean broke the news.
