Society Of The Broken

Chapter 14

After an hour of convincing Logan's cousin and setting a plan in motion everything was set into motion.

When Roman got home last night and his parents found word of his brothers imprisonment they didn't even care, it made Roman angry, they said he deserved to be in there for trying to break them out.

That night Roman had never felt so angry to be living in the same house as his parents, they use to say they never played favourites but looking back they most definitely did.

Later that day everything was set into motion, Logan's cousin had caused some kind of distraction. They didn't quite know what it was but it distracted the guards none the less.

The 4 boys opened the door which lead to the cells and were relived to see just the people they were looking for, they all exchanged rushed greetings and watched as Roman eventually pic lock the cell door.

With as much efficiently as they could they made their way back to their base type home and got everyone comfortable and up to date with the current situation, that's when the problem arose. What now?

"I don't want to stay here" Started Virgil "This may be my home but the others were right, this place isn't safe anymore"

no one could deny it was true yet no one really wanted to accept the hidden truth from behind the words.

"What do we do then?" Questioned Patton

"We leave, find a new place to call home" Patton stared at Janus with widened eyes "We were never welcome here in the first place"

"if you guys are leaving then I have a request" Remus stood up in front of group and took a deep breathe "Take me with you"

This started off small argument through out the group but they were all silenced by Remus speaking up again.

"My parents have shown they clearly don't care about me"

"If your going then so am I" Roman stood beside his brother "I can't go leaving my twin now can I"

Of course there was another reason why he wanted to stay but no one addressed that reason.

"I will join you as well" Logan surprised everyone with this "you guys are my only true friends and I doubt my family would even notice"

After a few more minuets of debate the group had some semblance of a plan they all split up to grab supplies and decide on a direction to head off in.

As the group left Virgil, Janus and Patton stared at their home for a second and allowed them selves to smile as memories surfaced to the forefront of their minds.

This may have been their home but it was time to move on, grabbing each others hands (Roman and Virgil, Janus and Remus, Logan and Patton) they all set off for better days and a brighter future of fun for them all.
