"You guys seriously don't respect this elderly person at home" Taeil huffed looking at the boys lazily lying down playing video games on the mattress spread on the living room
"Old people are supposed to take rest during their last days" Doyoung yawned
"I'll complain about your disrespectful behaviour once Taeyong's back from the ministry's office!" Taeil stomped towards Naomi's room as he knocked the door
"Yes?" Naomi opened the door
"Will you accompany me to the ministry's medic wing?" Taeil asked with a hopeful face
"What about the others?" Naomi asked
"They aren't willing to go with me!" Taeil pouted
Naomi broke into a smile as she grabbed her phone from the desk, "sure let's go"

"Please wait here, I'll have to go check in the list of kits they've provided us" Taeil said as Naomi nodded
She walked around the room which was full of files and casually read the names on the files.
Her attention drifted to one file which was arranged in the corner of the shelf.
Huang Jiang
She took the dusty file in her hand as she opened it in confusion.
"Medical report of an accident?" Naomi mumbled as she read through the medical report with widened eyes
"No way, there's no way that she has gotten into an accident and ended up losing her powers, I thought she had her powers, and that the accident report states that she had broken bones. Something's not right" Naomi mumbled as she further searched for information
Spouse: Hwang Sungwook
" Renjun's father isn't a Huang?" Naomi's face fell in confusion as she looked through the other files to find his name.
The door opened as Taeil walked in with two big cardboard boxes
"Naomi, what happened?" Taeil asked as he placed the heavy boxes on the ground looking at the confused girl
"Moon, Are these real?" Naomi asked as she showed the file
"You aren't supposed to look at these reports! They have private information in those" Taeil informed as he took the files from her hand placing it back on the shelf
"No but something's not right" Naomi spoke
"We can't interfere in the ministry's affairs, let's get going" Taeil warned leaving the room taking one of the boxes as Naomi sighed taking the other box and leaving the room.

"I'm sure it was boring, wasn't it?" Jaehyun chuckled as he looked at the two entering the house with heavy boxes
Naomi left the box with medical supplies in the medic room as she walked to Mark's room.
"Ooh Naomi you're back, come sit, let's watch a movie" Mark smiled as he patted the mattress beside him
The girl gave a small smile as she slided beside Mark pulling the blankets over them.
"How was your first trip to the ministry?" Mark asked as he munched popcorn
"Something's not right.." Naomi said slowly as she fiddled with the blanket
"What happened?" Mark asked turning his attention from the movie to the girl beside him
"I was waiting for Moon to come in one of the rooms which was filled with racks full of files. One file caught my attention which was under Renjun's mom's name. I didn't know it was her until I identified it with their Family name. I was curious as it was under the medical report section, it turns out that she had lost her powers due to an accident, but then the records say that she had broken bones. Broken bones doesn't have anything to do with the powers, right?" Naomi confessed what she saw at the medical wing
"Wait, last year, Johnny hyung had a broken bone during one of the missions, but his power is still the same." Mark said being confused
"Exactly, plus, it said that her spouse is ' Hwang Sungwook'. Isn't it 'Huang'?" Naomi added
"Dude, something is really fishy about this. They covered up the fact that she lost her powers, and it's due to broken bones? Did you check the files of Renjun's father?" Mark asked
"No, Moon returned by then, I couldn't find his, he scolded me for reading private information of the Ministry." Naomi replied
"I vaguely remember this, but Taeyong hyung was telling me about an accident which Happened years ago, about a mother and a son. According to my guess, the mother and son should be Renjun and his mom. During his trainee days , he was asked to learn about the case. We should try asking him if the mother had lost her powers during the Accident" Mark said
"I'll find a way to ask him about it without him doubting us" Naomi said as Mark nodded slowly

"Renjun, you need to work hard and train hard, the selections for the minister post of Neo city is in a year. You know, we're the only ones capable of ruling over Neo city. We got two elements in our hands, whereas Seraphines got only one" Sungwook, Renjun's father said
Renjun looked down with his boring gaze not really interested in what he was saying.
"Are you listening to me!" His father asked with a glare
Renjun looked Upto his father as he nodded, " yes father"
"Go train hard! I want you to be the ace and get more power!" His father raised his voice as he snapped his fingers leaving Renjun landing hard on the floor across the room
Renjun groaned in pain as he clenched his jaw
" You're such a weakling! Are you even a man? Look how you're not strong enough to withstand the airblow which I sent! Train hard, do you understand!" The man glared at his son as he walked out of the room
Renjun's friends rushed inside the room as they lifted him up.
"Take him to the medic room" Jaemin said as he lifted the boy's shirt to see a fresh scar
Renjun shut his eyes tightly as he groaned in pain.
"Hold his arms, this is gonna hurt" Jaemin instructed as Jeno held Renjun's arm tight
Jaemin started applying the cream as Renjun screamed in pain.
Jaemin sighed as he looked at the several other faded scars on Renjun's body.
"We're done, take rest" Jaemin said packing the medic box
