Draco was very hard to read when it came to feelings. One minute it seemed like he was catching feeling and the next minute he's encouraging Pansy's flirting. The two never kissed or anything it's just the googily eyes from Pansy and it feeding the blonde boys ego.

Due to the flirting this time you didn't wanna fight for his attention and decided to sit with Hermione at lunch and canceled on your usual study date with Draco thinking he wouldn't really notice with Pansy around.

Then at dinner you say sat with your head down hoping you could just get through quickly and get to bed as soon as it's over. What you didn't realize was Draco had been keep an eye on you all day.

He noted you at lunch with the trio. He wasn't thrilled you left him with Pansy and Crabbe to study and now you're eating dinner alone. He knew something was wrong and he was going to confront you about your disappearing act today.

When dinner ended you tried to skip out of the great hall unseen. You made it pretty far when you felt a hand grab your arm gently and pull you down an empty hall. You looked up ready to push your new found visitor away when you looked up and say Draco.

He stopped with you and let go of your arm after a moment. "Y/n where the hell have you been all day? I'm not dense, I can figure out when someone is ignoring me. You didn't hide it well." He rolled his eyes after he spoke, almost to seem less hurt then he felt my your actions.

You looked up at him and signed lightly. " I figured you where fine hangout with Pansy." You felt so embarrassed to show you where jealous but you knew if you lied he would see right through it. To your surprise he didn't laugh at your comment.

"You think I want to spend time with Parkinson? She becomes a bit much after the third time she hits my arm playfully and tells me 'you're so funny Draco'." You laugh lightly at his attempt to mimic Pansy's voice.

"So you're not swooning for Pansy Parkinson?" You look up at him to see if you can read his expression. He only shakes his head lightly. "No I'm not, " He smiles smugly before he continues. " Is that why you have been ignoring me today? You're jealous."

You pushed back a blush and roll your eyes quickly. "How do you feel when I even talk in Harry's direction?" You knew you got him there when he clenches his jaw a bit. "Like I wanna hex his eyebrows off."

You laugh lightly blushing at the jealous Draco before you. "Oh don't get all cross. The boy is hopelessly in love with Ginny Weasley. I'm not even in his radar." You go on your tip toes to mess up his perfectly styled hair. He doesn't get too mad at this just fixing it quickly.

He looks down at you and gives a small smile. "Maybe I should just make sure he doesn't stand any chance and ask you out myself." At his words your cheeks hear up and a smile spreads across your face. "Are you asking me on a date or to be your girlfriend Malfoy?"

He sweeps some hair behind your ear gently as he smiles down at you. "I'll take a date if you wanna take it slow." As much as he tried to come across as this big bad Slytherin boy he had a huge soft side.

You smile widely up at him. "I'd say yes to both but I'd say a date is a good start." To this he moves his hand down to take yours gently. "A date it is then y/ln." Finally, you both get over the awful flirting stage.
