Draco Malfoy Imagines and Preferences

Delivery Day (Fluff)

This is set a couple years post war. Also kinda a redo to pregnancy troubles.

Pregnancy is never easy. Morning sickness, restlessness nights, and literally growing another human inside you would make anyone uncomfortable. So when you were left home alone while Draco was at work it led to an interesting moment when you water broke while you where making yourself lunch. You called Draco shockingly not getting an answer so you took it upon yourself to get to the hospital.

There they called Draco's work and got a hold of him to get him down to the hospital immediately. You got all hooked up and comfortable in your hospital bed as nurses came in to check you every so often till Draco rushed into the room getting to your side immediately.

"Y/n! I'm so sorry I was in a meeting and I didn't have my phone on me." Draco was talking so fast you almost couldn't understand him. You reached for his hand gently to calm him down with a comforting smile. "Draco it's okay. I'm only 3 centimeters dilated. You haven't missed anything."

A rush of relief flooded over his face as you spoke. He leaned down and kissed your forehead gently. "Are you in any pain. Is there anything I can do to help?"

As lost as your both felt in this moment having him with you was all you could ask for. "No I'm okay. I'm just happy you're here with me."

You both took in the moment and talked with the doctors as things started to progress. That's when they told you it was time to push.

Lots of emotions and shuffling filled the room as a beautiful baby girl was born into the Malfoy family, Stella Malfoy. You got to hold her in your arms as soon as the doctors let you. Her eyes as blue as her father's and a nose just like yours. She was a true mix of the both of you.

Draco didn't leave your side as he looked in aw at the two if you. You look up at him and smile to yourself. "Do you want to hold her?" You had never seen him light up the way he did when you asked this.

You very gently handed Stella to him and he held her smiling widely. He walked with her over to the window and swayed with her gently. "Your mother and I have been waiting 9 mouths to meet you little one."

You could hear in his voice he was trying not to cry. Finally having a family of his own was something Draco has thought about since he fell for you all those years ago back at Hogwarts.

"Draco. She's smiling at you." You nod at Stella in his arms. Her small smile up at him as he talks to her was enough to melt anyone's heart. In this moment you where a family. A happy, loving, excepting and unconditionally loved family.
