Sandee was furious.
He called Pok, "Meet me at the plaza area right now."
"Sandee, what is..." Before Pok could say anything, Sandee punched him on the face.
"How dare you! How dare you swap my dissertation paper with yours?" Sandee screamed at him.
"What are you talking about?" Pok tried to understand.
Sandee was about to throw in another punch which Pok blocked this time, "Sandee, listen to me. I have no clue about it and even if what you are saying is true, I do not have access to the professor's dissertation files. How can I change them?"
There was a change in Sandee's facial expression now. He realized. "Tong!"
Besides him, Tong is the only person who has access to the files because he is the teacher's assistant besides Sandee.
"Call him here right now."
It had been weeks since Pok had any contact with Tong.
"Pok, you called? Where are you?" Tong was so glad that Pok called him back after so many unanswered calls and messages Tong left on his phone.
"Meet me at the plaza. Right now." He ordered.
Tong arrived to find them both standing there, one blazing like fire and the other shocked to his core.
After Tong admitted that he was the one who did it, they both left him there. Tong lost a friend and the one he was falling in love with.

"Let me tie it for you."
Pok was a grown up, yet did not know how to tie a tie.
Pok put both his hands on Tong's waist and grabbed him against his body, feeling him up, "Thank you, wifey."
"Get off my body."
"Actually you are on mine. I am not holding you tight anymore. Or maybe you like being in my arms." Pok teased.
Tong's frowned expression satisfied Pok. Tong cursed under his breath. Pok enjoyed it.
"I'm getting the car out. Meet me in front."
They left for the office party.

"Don't touch my waist," Tong bit out between his teeth.
Smiling cheekily, Pok replied, "Why? You shy with public display of affection?"
"Yeah I am so shy with your pretentious display of affection that I want to vomit on your face." he shook Pok's hand off his waist and went for a strawberry smoothie at the drinks counter.
Sandee was there. Tong saw him and hesitated for a moment.
"Sandee..." He finally spoke.
Sandee took his drink and walked off.
This was their first encounter after that hurtful day a year ago.
Pok saw it and came to Tong, took the smoothie from his hand and started drinking it, trying to use his mischief to divert Tong's mind from what just happened.
"You don't even like strawberry-based drinks."
"You remember?" Pok felt so good, his heart danced with joy. Tong really cares for him but not enough to have him as a lover. He was denied his first kiss. He was just a friend to Tong, nothing more, he thought.
