Chapter 5: Musa & Riven

Musa's POV:

"Muse come on can you understand, why I want to go on the tournaments!" Riven said to me.
"Oh I understand riv, but why can't we live in Melody with my father. You can become a knight there and go on amazing quests, that could be just as fun as the tournaments and then we both could follow our dreams." I say trying to get my boyfriend to come to Melody.
"It sounds like a good idea, but we can do that after Muse. We will be tied down in that kingdom soon enough so let's have some fun first." Riven said smirking at me.
"Riv..." I stay trying to keep a straight face as Riven tried to pull me closer towards him on our living room couch.
"Come here Muse!"
"Riv....don't you have to train?"
"Nope I'm all finished for today!" He said smirking at me as he finally pulled me closer onto his lap.
"So you have a bunch of time for me?" I ask coulee
"Ummh." Riven says brining his lips closer to mine, and we stay together on the couch.
Suddenly a Knock pulls us apart, and I can tell Riven is annoyed by it.
"Awwe it's ok riv, I'll get it" I say getting up and giving him a kiss on the cheek as I pass him to get to the door. As I open the door I see it's our two best friends back from their honey moon.

"Hey Layla, hi Nabu how was your trip!"
"It was great Musa...is riven here too?" Nabu asked
"Yes he's in the living room come on in!" I said opening the door wider as both of them stepped through the door.
"Hey Riven!" Layla said
"Hey guys how was the trip!"
"It was great!" Nabu said sitting down in our love sit with Layla right beside him, as I sat back down beside Riven.
"So what are you two up to?" Layla asked
"Nothing now" Riven said rolling his eyes
"Riv be nice!" I said elbowing him
"It's ok i would probably feel the same way if someone interpreted me and Layla." Nabu said laughing.
"But riv is having a race later tonight if you want to join us!"
"Of course we would love to!" Layla.

Late that night at the hover bikes race I made sure to give riv my good luck kiss which is one of the traditions we've started since we first started dating.
"You ready for the race riv!"
"Of course I am Muse with your good luck kiss and my talent no ones else is going to win!" He says smirking at me.
"Oh riv then I guess you don't need me offering you good luck?"
"Oh princess you don't get off that easily!" He said puking me onto of his hover bike. I wrap my arms around his shoulders as our lips get pressed together so he can get his good luck kiss from me.
"Riv!" I say laughing as I place my head on his chest.
"Hey Riven one minute until the race you better get the rest of your gear on." A member of his crew said.
"I'll meet you after the race then riv good luck!" I said kissing him on the cheek and hoping off the bike over to where he keeps his helmet so he would be extra safe.
"Love you Muse, make sure to watch as I crush the others!" He says winking at me as he rides off to join the other racers.

As I head back over to the stands I see Layla and Nabu have saved me a sit so I can get a clear view of Riven's race.
"You ready for this race!?" Nabu asks.
"Of course I am not then again I'm not the one racing." I say smiling as I look down at all the racers to spot out Riven
"No but it should be one to remember!" Layla said smiling
"What do you mean?"
"Oh nothing Musa!" Layla said with an evil sparkle in her eyes.
"If you say so Layla." I said turning back to the race.

The lights to signal the race to start turn from red to yellow and all the bikes start revving their engines, and most of the racers lift a foot of the ground to get ready for when the light turns green. Then it turns green and all the racers are off with Riven in the front letting all the other riders eat his dust.
"GO RIVEN!!!!" I yell over the crowd using my powers to make my voice sound louder than the others. I know his probably smirking at all this attention from me but I don't care I love that man with all my heart.

Pretty soon all the racers made it around their first lap with Riven in the front leading the pack of racers to the first line. Soon Riven is close to the finish line and almost on his third and finally lap. So that's when I start screaming at the top of my lungs for him to win, and soon I'm joined by both Layla and Nabu shouting for Riven to win.
"Go Riv!!!!" I yell
"Come on Riven win this race!" Layla yells
"Go win this my friend Riven!!!" Nabu yells.
Pretty soon the race is over and of course my man won.
"The winner of the annual magics hover bike race is riven!" The announcer yells the three of us cheer over the crowd as Riven steps closer to the announcer asks to have the mic. When it's passed over to him Riven says.

"Thank you every for coming out today to this amazing race. I'm happy you could all be here today for this amazing moment. Most of my races I've finished them because of pure talent but I've always had luck on my side luck of the most beautiful women. Could my girlfriend Musa come down here please I have something I have to ask you!" He says smirking up at me. Layla gives me a little shove to make my way down the stairs so I can get closer to Riven.

When I get down the last step and head over to the race track I can feel the eyes of everyone looking at the two of us wondering what was going to happen. But I already know what's going to happen lately Riven's been more romantic because he knows how much I love when he shows that side of him. But now he's being more comfortable with him self and not so jealous at everyone that steps into our path.
"Muse you been here with me every step of the way!" He says talking my hands "and well Muse I want you to be there for the next steps of my life...." as he got down on one knee I started smiling. "Will you marry me Muse!?" He said opening the ring box showing me a beautiful light blue diamond sliver band ring.
"It reminded me of your eyes!" He said smirking
"Oh riv....of course I'll marry you!" I said bending my face down to kiss him, as he slips the ring on my finger to finally tell the whole world I'm his.
"Wow what a big day folks!" The announcer said taking the mic back from Riven.

I see out of the corner of my eye Layla and Nabu approaching us.
"Wow you two it took you guys long enough to finally tie the not" Nabu said
"Can we see the ring?" Layla asks
"Sure!" I say raising my hand for everyone to see the beautiful ring Riven had gotten me.
"It's so beautiful and it reminds me of your eyes Musa!" Layla mentioned
"That's one of the reason I got it!" Riven said smirking at me.
"Stop your smirking" I say nudging him slightly in the chest
"Sorry Muse it's just been a good day....with getting married to you" he said kissing my cheek, "and winning this!" He says holding up his new trophy.
"Yeah it's been a good day for everyone!" Layla said.
"Yes it is" I say smirking at my future husband.
