The roses in the garden smiled merrily under the blazing sun. Birds chirruped happily while perching on the branches of the green trees. Some flew across the clear sky.

I ran my hands across the various flowers that decorated the ivy-covered walls... till I reached it.

Dewdrops on the soft blue petals sparkled when the rays of the sun greated them. Colorful butterflies danced around it... my precious flower.

Slowly I reached my hand towards it.

Suddenly a harsh wind hurled my hand away. The clouds grew dark. The ground shook. The blue beauty I longed for, got separated from me. I reached for it. But the ground split and it fell into darkness. The ground kept on shaking.

All of a sudden the thunder roared 'MILLLIEE!!' and I got drenched in cold rain...

"I'm UPP!!"

"Good 'cause if you are not, you're gonna miss the train."

Millie looked up to the source of the voice and saw her little brother towering over her, holding an empty glass in his small hands.

Realization washed over Millie's face. She scrambled away from her bed yelling "Why didn't you wake me before then??"

The little boy rolled his eyes and left her room.

"I've been shaking your bed for the past five minutes. When I climbed over, you called me 'precious' and tried to stroke my face. But I hit it away", he chuckled.

Millie suddenly stopped trying to turn the leaky tap. She recalled the events. So it was just a dream, ugh...again.

"Were you dreaming about your boyfriend?"

In shock, she almost got smacked onto the floor as she tried to put her pants on while standing one-legged, an art she still has to master.

"What? NO... I don't have any boyfriends", Millie yelled from her room.

"Oh, then is it about the lame old flower?"

"Firstly, yes it was about my blue beauty.", Millie said in a muffled voice through her half pulled shirt. " Secondly, it is NOT lame and old.", she shouted after pulling down her shirt.

"I was...this close...", the girl held her hands close to emphasize her words and let out a desperate sigh.

"Whatever, I'm going. Hurry up if you don't want to stay the whole year here. We need to get there. Wohooo!!".

Dan danced out of his sister's room. He was the most excited one during every September 1. Is he excited because he can run into a platform wall without getting hurt or is it to celebrate the fact that his sister won't be in the house for another year to annoy him... Millie could never know.

Millie smiled to herself and checked the clock.

Shoot!!

She has only 20 minutes before the train leaves. She was glad she had already packed everything yesterday, unlike last year.

She pulled her blonde hair into a loose ponytail. She didn't have much time.

Out of all days, her body chose this day to sleep in...
