“Oh, he’s fine, ” Shreya answered exasperatedly while at the same time Taehyung whispered to himself as if he was cradling a secret to his chest, “So his name is Jungkook.”

Yoongi warily eyed Taehyung, having never seen this particular temptress before. But Shreya he immediately recognized, even by voice before he could open his eyes. To properly be able to look at the situation Yoongi exerted his tired muscles to sit up against the ship’s wobbling movements. All this while Jungkook hadn’t moved a muscle that wasn’t for stabilizing himself.

“He doesn’t look fine,” Yoongi commented wryly. There was a certain accusation in his tone and Shreya didn’t hesitate for even a second to point at her brother.

“It was him!”

Taehyung gaped at her, offended. “Hey, what in an eel’s ass? Bros before hoes!”

Yoongi’s eyebrows traveled up leisurely. His expression was hard to read, but Shreya would’ve sworn she saw a flicker of amusement wrapped in a string of confusion in his now mismatched eyes. His right eye faded into white opal, while his left remained dark brown. The contrast made him appear like a fearsome warrior as well as a gentle scholar who never once lifted a sword in his entire life.

Yoongi looked really attractive like that, even with his pale-ish wet skin and the dark lines of overexhaustion across his face. It was… strangely hot. The thought rippled through Shreya’s body like an electric shock, snapping her out of her improper stupor.

“Ehm, Yoongi. This is my brother, Taehyung, I told you about,” she gestured towards her fuming brother, “Taehyung, this is Yoongi.”

“Heya,” Taehyung barely cast Yoongi a glance as a greeting, those purple-gem eyes still glaring holes into Shreya’s skull. Yoongi grunted something that got lost in the whiz of the storm outside. Shreya wanted to smack them both on the head.

“So.. why is Jungkook enchanted?”

“Ah right! Taehyung hurry and send him outside already. Before anyone else comes down,” her request sounded like an order from a military general - it left no place for arguments. Taehyung made a face but discarded his tail in order to stand up and approach Jungkook who continued to stand in the same place.

The purple-eyed temptress leaned in close and carefully whispered a few sentences into the young Master Gunner’s ears. Jungkook nodded and as if he was a marionette doll turned back around and climbed up the ladder disappearing wordlessly.

And then the three of them were left alone.

Yoongi looked at the pair of very beautiful, and very naked siblings and all of a sudden his headache returned. Despite losing consciousness Yoongi could piece things together vaguely. These two temptresses saved him, not just from drowning but also probably from others of their own kind if that messy last memory of Yoongi’s hazy head was anything to go by. They saved him even after they clearly knew that Silver Claw’s name was tightly associated with him. But why? Especially Shreya’s behavior confused him. It didn’t make sense.

“Why did you save me?”

Both heads turned towards him simultaneously. Taehyung grinned wide with abandon. “To ask you about Jungkook of course - ow!

“Ignore him. He’s a muddle-head in love.” Shreya scratched her forearm where Taehyung landed a retaliation hit.

“I’ll let that pass because finally, we’re both idiots in love at the same time!” Taehyung happily yipped, pushing his cold-purple colored tongue out. When his sister lifted a hand with the serious intention of smacking him, Taehyung instantly dashed to Yoongi’s side, hugged his arm and attempted to cover behind his back despite being taller in stature. “Save me! Save me!”
