I've also heard word that the Astrayan army has taken over a village by lake morning star. I only fear what's to come next. Father hasn't written to me in the past 2 weeks. I pray to the gods that he is still alive, but soon after I had a grim reminder of how war is after seeing my fathers cold corpse dangling on a pole that the Astrayan soldiers were carried with some sort of pride. My tears wouldn't stop a coldness filled my heart but I have no time for it. I must prepare a counter attack against the incoming forces.
