The further we ran the closer they got to us. Sir Leonhart picked me up and ran faster until we reached the forest and the enemy on our tail. He placed me down and told me to run,I hugged him, I prayed it was not a goodbye hug but deep down I knew it was. I shed a tear as I whispered goodbye and turned my head holding back the tears. I continued running hearing the clanging of swords crashing. My heart beat drowned the noise out. By the time I had got to the canyon I was covered in dirt and cut from tripping over vines and tree stumps. I walked onto the edge of the canyon but I couldn't do it. I heard footsteps creeping closer, at that moment I knew that it wasn't sir Leonhart it was the Astrayan soldiers. They were coming for me. by the time I realised there was no way of escape they had made it to the clearing, swords at the ready they walked forward until prince Sumerian Inanna Astraya emerged . I never thought my last words before falling down a canyon would be "I will get my revenge." I closed my eyes and stepped back. At that moment it was the first time I had ever felt alive.
