I think the rush of the fall must have made me black out because I woke up in a damp cave by where I fell. There were tracks leading out of the cave. Suddenly I heard a rustling noise coming from the bushes. I grabbed a rock nearby ready to fight. Then a man came out. He looked about 16-18 but I'm not quite sure. His hair grey, his eyes crimson with a fierce gaze. I assumed he was a mercenary or a former one. I noticed he was holding medicinal herbs local to the forest and water from the lake. I asked with hesitation if he was the one who saved me. He nodded and came closer. He reached out and picked up an old cloth and cleaned my cuts. Suddenly my vision blurred and my senses went dull and I reached out despite slipping into a sleep I felt warm... warmer than I had ever felt since my mother..... That was the last thing I remember.
