The Second Wizarding War and the final Death Eater trials raise questions and concerns for Hermione that they don't answer. Her disillusionment is only addressed when Bellatrix Lestrange, and therefore all three of the Black sisters, turn up unannounced in her life a few years later.
My favorite things are existential dread, sexual tension, bellamione, and Andromeda Tonks; this story has a healthy dose of all four.
Hogwarts and post-Hogwarts eras. Post-hogwarts begins chapter 8. AU but canon compatible.
