Intimidating

I was walking down the hall,
minding my own business until I saw
someone near my locker, as I walked closer,
I realized that it was Soobin,
"Oh, Soobin. What's wrong?" I asked
as I went up to him, he looked at me
in fear before answering,
"Oh! Heejin went to grab something and told me to wait here." he smiled,
"Okay... but why here?" I questioned

Soobin scratched the back of his neck, thinking of an answer but he got nothing,
"Uh, Heejin just told me to wait here,
is this your locker?" He pointed at the
locker behind him,
"Yeah. I need to place these books
in." I said, showing him the books in my arms
"Sorry.. sorry.." He moved aside so I
can reach it to place my books in

"Hey, Soobin." I called,
"Y-yeah??" He answered whilst
stammering,
"What's wrong? You gave me short
words and you're barely talking,
I thought you were that loud man." I asked, I could've sworn I just heard him shouting during lunch time,
"Oh... uh.." Before he could even answer,
a shout was heard

"SOOBIINNN!!" Footsteps were then
heard in a fast pace, it was Heejin
Once Heejin arrived, she gasped, "HYUNJIN!" She shouted before hugging
me, "I missed you so much!"
"I- uh.. missed you too.." I replied, returning the hug back

"I hope Soobin wasn't bothering you." Heejin said, smiling widely,
"Yeah.. he's just.. quiet for some reason,
when I remember hearing him shout and
scream at random people during lunch time." I spoke, it's true. He kept
shouting 'I won!' towards the other pupils
without even knowing them,
"Oh! He finds you intimidating."

Why?

"Oh... alright, I'll see you tomorrow? I guess... bye Heejin, bye Soobin." I walked out before anything else happens

Is Soobin scared of me
because of how quiet I am?
I get that a lot
Which is why most people
don't like me and go for
