Ryujin looked at me with wide eyes
but immediately hid them with her smile,
"What do you want to talk about?"
"Why did you lie to me?" I asked, making
her expression lead to confusion,
"What do you mean?"
I sighed, thinking it would be harder
if I don't spill it out, "Chaeryeong had
family problems. Yet you told me she was
ill and you were accompanying her." I said
in a calm tone,
"W-what?" She stammered, "But she w-was
ill." She added.
Ryujin stammers whenever she's caught
lying. Why did she even try? She was my
bestfriend since we were fetuses.
I walked closer to her as she walked
backwards. "Ryujin." I called,
"Picture this. Us. You and I have been great friends ever since you were born, so ..."
I stopped
"It's time to stop acting like we're both happy with eachother."
