The truth

I walked towards Soomi's art cafe with
a gift in my hands, Jeno had to cancel
the whole birthday party, telling everyone
that something urgent came up.
I entered the cafe and looked around
for a specific black haired man, I spotted
something moving at the corner of my eye,
making me look at the direction and saw Jeno.

I smiled before walking towards the seat,
"Hey, sorry for making you cancel the whole birthday party that you planned.
Here's a gift for you. Happy birthday." I apologized before sitting down across him, handing him his present

"Thank you, I appreciate it and it's fine,
I'm glad the others understand." He forgave, giving me a smile, assuring me
that it's alright, "Alright, I haven't been communicating with Heejin often, she never visits us whenever we have family gatherings lately. But I'll tell you one thing."

I leaned closer, to hear clearly.

"Heejin likes Ryujin.
It was a bet, she was challenged to
act like she likes you but to
get with Ryujin. The seniors gave her the
bet, they thought she wouldn't dare to
hurt you since.. you look innocent and somewhat scary.." He stopped.
