Lies
An arm was wrapped around
my shoulders, making me flinch.
I backed away immediately to see
who it was and it was Jeno,
"Hey Hyunjin." He said, giving me his
iconic eye smile, "My birthday is in three days, why not come to 7dream cafe with my friends and I?" He asked, "Renjun will be there.. and Yeji ... and Jisu... and Chaeryeong-"
"Wait. Chaeryeong? Isn't she ill? Ryujin
hasn't been to school due to accompanying
Chaeryeong." I told him, making him
give me a confused look,
"Ill? She had family problems and
had to visit Busan since her
grandparents are there so
she wasn't able to attend school
for a few weeks due to that." He explained
"And how do you know that mister?"
"She told me, Yeji and Jisu weren't
there that day so she told me since
I'm in the same class as her and you
went home earlier, I wanted to
tell you the next day but you didn't attend
so I forgot about it."
"What?"
"What?"
Did Ryujin... lie to me?
