“Were you taught how to write and read?” the Emperor asked his Grandchild. Commoners aren't usually taught how to Write nor read, and Jungkook had lived like a commoner since he was born which worried the emperor
“Mother taught me how to when I was young and just continued to study by myself when she died. I thought it might be useful someday” Jungkook answered, a little more comfortable now
“That's good. Then, Jimin won't have a hard time teaching you.”
“But Your Majesty, do you really allow this guy to be a potential heir? His father is only a Stable man, he's a commoner” Jungkook frowned and clenched his jaw after hearing what the 1st Prince had just said
“Yes. But this 'guy' you address is also the Son of my most precious child.” The Emperor simply answered which pissed off the 1st Prince more
“I apologize your majesty but I've read in a book that Commoners aren't allowed to sit in the throne” he spoke again.
Jungkook glared at him, ‘Should I just cut off his tongue?’ he thought.
“Ah, thank you for being so positive cousin. You actually think that I have the potential to sit in the throne that even you're so determined to kick me out of here” Jungkook says so casually,even smiling.
Jimin glanced at the youngest prince and observed.
“How dare you!...” The 1st Prince was cut off when a familiar hand rested on his shoulder.
“Your highness, please don't act so reckless just from a few mindless words from the 4th Prince” Jimin says calmly. It was his everyday routine, calming and reminding a Royal of their proper manners, especially in front of the emperor
The 1st Prince sighed, “Yes. I apologise”
“Hm. Well then, let's just enjoy this meal” The Emperor says as everyone started eating peacefully.

“Allow me to remind you Sir, You must not provoke any of the other Prince's. We are still not sure wether you'll succeed in the throne. One of them might overpower you. If so, your only end is Death.” Jimin lectures just right after the emperor and other Prince's left.
“....I apologise”
Jimin once again avert his gaze to the youngest prince. “Did I not tell you to not apologize to those who're lower than you?”
“You're so strict and serious Jimin-ssi. You're scaring me” Jungkook whined “I bet you'll say ‘Royals should not whine like a kid’.” he adds, a little sarcastic
Jimin stares at him for a few seconds before responding, “It's okay to whine. However, mind your actions. You're a fully grown adult now Sir”
“I don't know. I feel like I wanna act like a kid when I'm with you” Jungkook states with a smile.
“That's ridiculous.”
The 4th Prince could only chuckle at the Beta's response. “Today, I shall show you to the Training grounds.” Jimin said as they start walking.
“Does this mean I can train with the knights?”
“No.”
“Eh? What's the point of showing me then?”
“No, you cannot train with the Knights every day because you have more important duties. However, you can if you finish the stated duties early. And today, you can since you've just arrived here.”
“Great!”
“Your highness, The Emperor might hire someone to train you too. I'm not sure but he might insist you to train with the other Prince's”
Jungkook scowled upon hearing it. “I don't want to.”
“... Unfortunately, I can't do anything for his highness if it's his majesty's orders. I'm only a mere Servant in this place.”
“how long have you been here?”
“... I was sent here when I was 8, Sir”
“So you've been working here since you were eight? Don't you hang out with friends?”
“I love doing this. Also, my friend lives here too. Since he's a Royal knight, it is required for him to live in the Royal Palace.”
“So you do have a friend...I wanna meet this friend”
“Now that I mentioned him, you two might get along well too. If ever his Majesty looks for someone who'll train you, I'll suggest Taehyung”
“That's the name of your friend?”
“Yes.”
“Is he also a Beta?”
“No. My friend is an Alpha your highness. He's also the son of the Royal knights general” Jimin answered
“...I see.”
“I'll take you to where he is now” Jimin then started walking to a different direction, Jungkook just followed.
It wasn't long when they finally arrived at the training grounds. It was very wide and full of Knights. “Let's go” Jimin ushered as they pass some knights who bowed to them. “I hope you two get along well” Jimin stated as they arrived in front of two knights fighting with another knight who seemed to have more Authority watching them.
Jimin stepped close to the tall person who also saw him and smiled, “Jimin-ah!!” Taehyung called, hugging his friend.
“Do friends hug each other all the time?” The prince spoke to which Taehyung finally noticed his presence
“...?Well, Jimin is a rather very close friend of mine, Your highness. And hug each other all the time” Taehyung answered as Jimin broke off the hug
“That's enough. I do expect the two of you to get along well.” Jimin says patting Taehyung's shoulders. “Taehyung-ah, you're probably aware that this is His highness, the 4th prince, Jeon Jungkook. Your highness, this is my friend, and also the general's son, Kim Taehyung. Please get along well.” Jimin introduces as he showed a small smile. The two alpha's stared at him for some seconds and sighed
“Since Jimin said so, I'll try my best to get along with you Your highness” Taehyung bowed
“..I'll do the same.” Jungkook responded
“That's great... Are you sure you want to train today Your highness? Are you not tired?” Jimin asked
“I feel quite fine. How about you? You can rest now Jimin-ssi”
“Very well, please excuse me and good luck. Do not cause any trouble your highness.” Jimin bid his good bye and bowed before walking away.
“So cute” Jungkook mumbled, smiling.
“Your highness, you're interested in my friend?” Taehyung looked at him warily
“It is not your business to know. Be careful of your words.” He sternly said, glaring at the Knight.
