WE SHOWED UP in front of the department store. It was closed, the lights were all off, coast was perfectly clear. "Should've brought my spray paint." I huffed, letting go of Five's hand to take out my dab pen.
"Don't have time for art." Five muttered. I furrowed my brows as I took a hit. I chuckled, placing the pen back in my pocket. I opened my hand, letting rain fall onto my skin as I heard distant thunder. Five then grabbed said hand and pulled me over to the front doors, spatial jumping both of us inside the store.
He let go of my hand, putting both of his own inside his pockets as his eyes scanned the aisles. "You coming?" He whispered. I chuckled softly. "Go ahead, I'll find you." I replied. Five nodded, walking away. My smile faded as I began to walk around. I finally found the Pharmacy and went behind the counter.
I searched hard until I found it. A pink box. I looked at it and sighed. "This is definitely plan B. Again." I slipped the box into my pocket, walking around to see what else Gimble Brothers had to offer. I used my phone's flashlight to see my way through the aisles. I shined it on a shelf with... Personal.. items.
"Personal massager.. ew.." I shone the light on the shelf below. My eyes went wide. "Tropical Explosion fruit flavoured condoms?! You've got to be shitting me." I laughed quietly, shaking my head as I walked away. I shoved some gum and a couple small snacks in whatever pockets or room in my bra that I could fit them in.
Then I saw Five talking to.. a mannequin..?
"It's good to see you. I've missed you... Obviously." He chuckled. I just stared blankly at him with my mouth agape. "Well I-.. it's been a rough couple of days."
"And I didn't think you could get any crazier." I snickered, startling Five as he turned towards me. He cleared his throat. "Salem, this is Delores."
