Bright lights and flashing cameras were everywhere as the idols attending another award show lined up on the stage, fans screaming in the background.
Most of them were pleased that the ending-stage had finally approached, particularly the groups who had been on various shows after their comebacks.
Although it had been several months since Blackpink's last comeback, it hadn't been any easier. The girls were still practicing continuously, perfecting and polishing every motion to the bone.
Mistakes had no place in Blackpink's choreography.
"I feel sleepy," Lisa mumbled as she held Soojae's hand, the older girl smiling softly at the Thai's droopy eyes.
"I know, I know," Jisoo mumbled "Just a few more minutes, Lalice and then we can go,"
It took a few more minutes as each group was introduced and presented themselves on stage, taking their positions respectfully.
Hoseok stood by Jin, a bright smile on his face as he greeted and waved at the numerous Armys in the crowd. He was even more pleased considering that Soojae was just behind his members, and he was sure to talk to her after the show ended.
As the next group moved forward, the rapper noticed how one of their members kept looking behind him, his eyesight falling upon one member in particular.
Kim Soojae.
His girlfriend.
The expression on the dancer's face faltered by an inch and it seemed that Jin had noticed it too as he whispered "Be careful,"
Keeping the bright beam on his face, Hoseok dragged his gaze away from the idol who had been staring too long at his girlfriend and continued to wave at his beloved fans, before settling into a full bow.
As soon as the ending stage had finished, the idols were directed into a large waiting room, where everyone was chatting and laughing, having the time of their lives.
It wasn't rare for couples to be exposed during this time as both Hoseok and Taehyung glanced around, their eyes falling upon some who were whispering excitedly to each other or looked too close to be just friends.
"Where is she?" The older boy muttered, standing on the very point of his toes to try and spot his girlfriend.
"Unless they've left already, hyung," Taehyung suggested until his eyes dilated "I see her! Over there, by Twice!"
Thanking his younger brother, Hoseok quickly moved towards Soojae who had been talking to Twice, her and Mina cracking up over something hilarious.
"'Jae," Hobi mumbled and Soojae almost jumped at the sudden appearence of the rapper "Can- Can I talk to you?"
With a smirk on her face, Mina bowed respectfully, her eyebrows wiggling towards the older girl before moving towards the rest of their groups.
Hoseok led the vocalist to an empty room, shutting the door firmly behind them, and the female was confused when the rapper hugged her tightly, his head buried in the crook of her neck.
"Hobi?" She asked gently, rubbing small circles on his back so that he could relax "What's going on?"
"He was looking at you," Hobi murmered, holding the girl even closer "He was looking at you and I didn't like it! But, I feel kinda embarrassed,"
It took a moment for Soojae to realise what Hoseok was talking about until she remembered one particular male idol turning back towards her group. She had ultimately thought that he had been looking at Jisoo or Chaeyoung.
"Hobi?" Soojae cupped the older boy's cheeks with an amused expression on her face "Are you jealous?"
Pouting, Hobi nodded, slightly ashamed to admit his envy.
"Oh, Hobi," Soojae chuckled, brushing away the stray locks on the older boy's head "There's nothing wrong with being jealous. It just proves that you care about me, and why would I look at that idol when I have you?"
"'Jae," Hoseok stared down at his shoes and it was the first time that Soojae had seen him look so shy in front of her "Y-You do care about me, right?"
Soojae pressed a kiss on the boy's lips. "Of course I do,"
The rapper took in her words before placing his chin upon the girl's head, his arms wrapping around her waist.
"I am so glad I have you,"
