Jisoo, Soojae and Chaeyoung were cooking. Well, Jisoo and Soojae were, Chaeyoung had swung her feet up on the kitchen counter and was nibbling on some snacks as she watched the older two bustle around, deciding to make bulgogi for the night.
"Unnie, can you pass me that- "
"Soojae, they've done it again!"
Jennie's hysterical, panicked voice cut off the other 96 liner from grabbing the garlic. Jennie and Lisa, who had been playing games on her phone in the other room, dashed towards the other three girls, alerting them of the news.
"What's going on, Jennie?" Jisoo had her hands on her hips as she peered at Jennie's phone in curiosity.
"Dispatch," Lisa said grimly, holding Soojae's hands as though not to panic her "They've found out,"
"No," Chaeyoung gasped, her eyes on the screen "They can't have, you two have been so careful these last few months,"
Soojae couldn't say a word as she stared hopelessly at the image in front of her. It was a picture of her and Hoseok on their bowling date, and even though the evidence was blurry, you could still tell it was them.
"'Jae," Jisoo rubbed the younger girl's back in attempts to soothe her, calm her down "We need to do this carefully, 'kay. We need to stay focused, otherwise things will get out of hand,"
"Things have already gotten out of hand, unnie," Chaeyoung frowned, scrolling through her own phone "There are already comments,"
"They better not say anything bad about our unnie," Lisa growled, her fists forming a boxing stance "If not..."
Just as Jennie opened her mouth to say something, a phone ringing interrupted their exchange.
"It's Hoseok oppa," Chaeyoung said softly, passing the phone to Soojae whose eyes widened.
What if he was angry that they'd got caught? What if he didn't want to stay with her anymore? What if they broke up?
"Answer it, 'Jae," Jisoo cupped the younger girl's cheeks "I'm sure he wants to check-up on you,"
Shakily, Soojae took the phone from Chaeyoung's hands, and with reassuring smiles from the rest of her sisters, she answered it.
"Hobi?" Her voice trembled and it felt like the floor was swaying beneath her.
"Love, are you okay? You've probably seen the news, the boys told me about it. I would've called you earlier, love, but we were talking with our managers about this whole- ordeal,"
"W-What did your managers say? Are they angry at us?"
"They're just worried. Bang PD-nim's trying to set up a meeting with your boss now, have you heard from him by any chance?"
"Nobody from our side has done anything, we've only just found out. Hobi, w-what do you think will happen to- "
"We're going to be okay love, I promise. I'm not letting them split us apart, 'kay?"
"Okay," Soojae said softly, her heart resting at it's natural pace as she was comforted by the boy she loved "Hobi-ah, make sure you eat, and sleep, and please don't worry about me, 'kay?"
Hoseok's eyes were twinkling from where he sat. "That's my job, princess, but the same for you. Eat, sleep and don't worry, love. We're gonna be okay, text me if they say anything, 'kay?"
"Okay, I'll call you later,"
"Yeah, take care, love,"
With those final words, Soojae hung up, feeling slightly more at peace now that she had spoken to Hoseok. "I'm not letting them split us up,"
She sure hoped they wouldn't.
"What did he say?" Jennie questioned.
"Bang PD-nim's organising a meeting with YG sajangnim," Soojae mumbled, taking a seat on the couch.
"They won't split you two up, unnie," Lisa said firmly "The two of you are strong and fans are sure to love you,"
"Besides," Jisoo scoffed "For YG sajangnim, this is a benefit, two members of the biggest bands in the world dating? I'm sure his stocks are sky-rocketing,"
Chaeyoung nodded fiercely. "That's all sajangnim cares about, unnie. As long as the company has good value and increased profits, then he won't care,"
As the girls continued discussing, a message popped up onto Soojae's phone, and as she glanced at it, her heart sunk.

YG sajangnim wants a meeting tomorrow
"Things will be okay, 'Jae," Jennie hugged her best friend tightly "There's noway that they could ever split you and Hoseok oppa apart,"

just to clarifly, hoseok and soojae have been dating for a few months now, and he's also met with the girls which is why they call him 'oppa' instead of 'sunbaenim', they are comfortable with him.
