Walking up to the tall wooden double doors I heard my friends' banter and shuffling feet on the sandy ground inside. Must be playing basketball again, Jongho's favorite sport. I poked my head through the door, black bangs falling over my eyes as I attempted to make my entrance unnoticeable.

"SEONGHWA'S HERE!"

Much to my dismay, one of the two blonde devils, Wooyoung came bounding towards me, pulling me inside our clubhouse and engulfing me in a tight hug.

"Wooyoung...." I choked out. "....can't.....breath....."

"Oh sorry!" He giggled and released me. I let out a deep breath and brushed off my coat. I took a look around the room. Yeosang and Jongho were passing the basketball back and forth to each other with Yunho in the middle trying to intercept it. Mingi and Hongjoong sat on the old dusty ripped up couch eating popcorn and watching. San was at the pool table tapping his fingers impatiently, most likely waiting for Wooyoung to come back and finish his turn.

"Sup Hwa." Yeosang nodded from where he was, then passing the basketball around Yunho to Jongho, Yunho just barely catching it. "How's your day been?"

My heart rate sped up as I remembered the note from the two girls. "It's been fine." I replied, plopping down next to Hongjoong to watch the game of monkey in the middle. "Got scolded for being late again."

"Aish," Hongjoong winced, slapping his hand on my thigh like he always did. "Your boss is such an asshole. Can't a guy be a little late?"

I shrugged. "I mean, I got to stop sleeping in one way or another." My white haired friend nodded and then passed me the bag of popcorn. Before I could reach in a grab a piece, Hongjoong placed one in between my lips with his tiny fingers. I blushed and giggled as he beamed with satisfaction.

"Ewwwww!" San wrinkled his nose and gently tapped me on the head-and then Hongjoong in turn using his pool stick. "Get a room!"

Mingi snorted. "Like you don't devour Wooyoung any chance you get."

Hongjoong made a tiny 'o' sound and Yunho gave his boyfriend a high five. San's face soured and the couple turned back to their pool game grouchily.

"So," Jongho said as we all got settled. "Tomorrow's performance." Everyone turned to attention at the topic of our concert. Ateez aren't just the best of friends, we're also performers. Musicians to be exact. I, myself sing and dance.

"Alright," Hongjoong clapped his hands together. Hongjoong is the leader of our band, he formed it, he writes the songs, he books the locations. We'd be no where without him. Maybe that's just one of the many reasons I find myself so infatuated with him.

"Recently I've been in touch with the school administration at the local elementary school. The principal has been endlessly working her ass off to raise money and of course since it's a public school in a big city, their funding is decreasing." Murmurs of understanding passed between the rest of us. Funding for schools was quite low around here, any school whether that be a preschool of a college.

"So," Hongjoong continued. "She asked me if we could put on a 'school-appropriate' concert for the kids. Anyone who wants to attend has to purchase a ticket for I don't know, $5." He smiled, making my heart flutter in my chest. "Doesn't that sound fun?"

My friends nodded, grinning in turn as well. San raised his hand and asked a couple questions. "So we perform at the school? And what songs should we perform?"

Hongjoong shrugged. "We'll figure out the track list today or tomorrow. And yes, we perform in the auditorium. We have to bring our own amps, uh Mingi, could we use your truck to bring them over?"
