HARRY'S POV:

I woke up in a large, comfortable bed, no longer in the warmth of Tom's arms. Stretching out, I realised I felt bigger, more grown-up somehow. I got up and made my way to the bathroom, which was bigger than the entire Dursleys' kitchen—quite a change. After washing up, I wrapped a towel around my waist and headed to the walk-in closet, which seemed as big as a bedroom itself.

I sorted through the clothes, finding one side filled with larger garments and the other with clothes that looked like they might fit me. After some consideration, I chose a silk button-up shirt with intricate grey designs and paired it with black dress pants adorned with curling snakes. Adding some casual, nice shoes, I attempted to tame my unruly hair, though it remained stubbornly messy.

Standing there dressed, I suddenly realised I had no idea where to go. Summoning Dobby, I asked him to take me to where Tom was. In an instant, we apparated into an office. Tom looked up from his work, noticing me immediately. He pushed his chair back slightly and opened his arms invitingly.

Unable to resist the invitation, I rushed into his warm embrace, snuggling against him while he played with my hair, his other hand deftly managing his paperwork. I relaxed against him, feeling a sense of security and comfort I hadn't known before.

As we sat there, I began to feel curious about this new life, about what was to come. I glanced around the office, noticing the shelves lined with books and various magical artifacts. Tom sensed my curiosity and started explaining some of the things around us, his voice calm and reassuring.

After a while, he suggested we take a stroll around the manor so I could get acquainted with my new surroundings. I nodded eagerly, excited to explore this place that was now becoming my home. Tom took my hand, and together we ventured out, beginning a journey into a life that felt unexpectedly promising and full of possibilities.
