'RING RING RING' Persephone heard the phone go. She wondered who was calling, but figured it was a family member because her mother has been in the hospital since last night. Persephone walked over to the phone and answered it.
"Hello?" Persephone asked wonderingly.
"Hello is this Persephone?" A lady asked me.
"Yes." Persephone said shaking. She knew it wasn't a family member.
"Yes this is the hospital, and your mother has sadly passed on." the lady said wiping a tear from her eye.
"B-b-but how." Persephone asked as she started to tear up.
"She had cancer and there is no cure." the lady said.
"B-but where do I live? What do I do? Do I live on the streets? Do I die of no money?" Persephone asked curiously.
"Your mother has money that she said to give you, and you're to young to live in your house, so I found a orphanage that you can stay in. I already contacted them also. I will bring you tomorrow. Pack your bags!" The lady said and hung up. Persephone's heart dropped. She didn't want to live in an orphanage. She wanted to live with her mother.
