Thanatos flew out to the sea again. Despite his fear of the unknown depths.

Poseidon would be the only one to know anything and he isn't exactly eager to share the secrets of his realm. Also the merfolk would know.

He could ask Tri what its like down there. Maybe then he wouldn't be so afraid of it. That is if he could find the merman again.

Thanatos landed down on the rock that they had met. Scanning the sea for a sign of anything scaled.

"Back so soon?" said the melodious voice that Thanatos wanted to hear so badly.

Thanatos looked down at the blue haired merman looking up at him from where he leaned against a rock.

Thanatos flew down to the rock that Tri had propped himself up on. Sitting down, leaving room for the merman to sit if he wanted to.

"What can I say, I missed the view," Thanatos said looking down at him.

"Why didn't you just say that then?" Tri said grinning.

Thanatos awkwardly patted the rock beside him, "Why don't you sit? I feel awkward here myself."

Tri poked Thanato's leg, "I don't have those so climbing is a bit harder for me than you."

"That's not the full reason is it?"

"Last time I tried to get up I fell four times."

"Why were you trying to get up?" Thanatos asked with a grin. Taking delight in the way the merman wouldn't meet his eyes.

"Were you looking for me?"

"Not everything is about you, that rock just happens to be very comfortable." Tri still wouldn't look at him.

"I think you have forgotten that I was on that rock too. It wasn't really comfortable."

"You weren't the one that fell asleep on it!"

"Yeah, also how did you fall asleep on it?" Thanatos asked, curiosity coming over him again. He hoped it didn't bother Tri that he had so many questions. If it had bothered him at all he didn't show it.

Tri thought for a moment, "Well I sang and brought the pirates there. Singing actually makes you tired so I just... fell asleep."

"What does it feel like? Singing and knowing everyone is drawn towards you?"

Tri looked up at him and met his eyes. "It's disorienting, it makes me feel... powerful. Everything- everyone is at my mercy when I sing, unless they can resist it. If they can't... I could do anything and they wouldn't even realise until I had stopped. I don't particularly like it but I can't sing without it causing attraction."

"You like to sing then?"

"Yeah, I'm a merman. It's in the job description."

Thanatos offered the merman his hand.

Tri just looked at it, confused.

"Give me your hand," Thanatos said with a smile.

Tri hesitantly put his hand In Thanatos'. Thanatos easily pulled the merman up onto the rock. Tri was lighter than he had expected, he crashed against Thanatos' chest. Sending him to his back, holding onto the merman.

They both froze.

Tri moved his head so that he could see eye to eye with Thanatos. "I mean you could have just asked."

"What?" Thanatos said stupidly, his brain too busy trying to comprehend how close they were.

"I said, you could have just asked. However I don't know how it would work with tails and whatever your things are."
