"hate to break up the love fest but we have kinda been standing here the whole time"

I ran up and brought them in a tight hug.

"stay away from him"
bonnie whispered in my ear I gave her a confused look

"wait how are u guys here"

"I was the anchor for the other side remember well then Damon died and I also died and now we are here"

It took me a second to process this

"did u say Bennett?"

I had completely forgot kai was standing here.

"umm yeah kai this is Damon and bonnie guys this is kai"

"I know" bonnie snapped

"anyway come back to the house we were just heading there to dry off"

"your a Bennett witch arnt you?,
you can get us out of here"

"let's get back to the house and dry off then we can talk about this I said while looking at bonnie she had anger spread across her face

There was tension in the air bonnie clearly didn't like kai but Damon seemed calm although he had found the bourbon so maybe it was just that.

"Damon can I talk to you quick" bonnie asked

It seemed off but I ignored it and sat next to kai on the sofa he was in a mood because I wouldn't let him have anymore pork rinds because I was making dinner.

"one bag" he said as I sat down

"if you keep asking ill burn every single pork rind in the world"

he rolled his eyes poking me in the side unfortunately I was very tickleish which he noticed and started tickling me

"say I can have one bag and I'll let you go" he was now pinning me down on the sofa so I couldn't go.

I pushed him off me and sat on top of him and pinned his arm down so he couldn't move

"never"

Damon walked in vamp speeding over to me picking me up off kai and putting me behind him

"damon what the hell I was winning"

Damon turnt round looking serious so I stopped laughing

"she doesn't know does she" damon said through gritted teeth to kai

"she is standing right here and SHE wants to know what's going on"

"lover boy over here murdered his siblings "

in a sarcastic voice Damon carried on

"because they called him an abomination " he laughed rolling his eyes

Kai's faced dropped but not to a sad expression to an angry one

"damon you do know who your talking to right?"

"Mercedes your story is completely different to his" bonnie said grabbing my arm

"I need to talk to kai in another room stay here"

Me and kai left the room and went in my room

"soundproof the room"

Kai did a spell and we tested it by me screaming damon no one came so it worked

"Mercedes I can explain my parents -"

"you don't have to explain yourself because...... I did the exact same thing"
Kai stood there saying nothing he was shocked and confused.

"my parents they... They tourtered me every single day for ten years  until when I was 15 I decided to kill them both"

"they tortured me because -"

Kai pulled me into a hug I started crying mascara running down my face all over his white shirt

"aw this was my favourite shirt" he laughed

We went back down the stairs to see bonnie and damon

"if you have hurt her I swear I'll -"

"you'll what damon seriously you'll what"

at this point I was so mad my eyes started changing colour again
Kai didn't know about my powers yet and I don't want him to find out so I took damon and bonnie to another room.

I told them to keep quiet about my powers for now they agreed and we went back out and all sat down for dinner it was so awkward we finished dinner and I started to wash up.

Kai came up behind me and put his hand on my waist and put his dish in the sink and smirked at me. God that smirk gets me everytime.

"right seeing as u all hate eachother we are gonna play a game"

I grabbed the shot glasses and the bourbon and poured out the shots

"never have I ever"

"ill start" damon yelled

"never have I ever stole someone's bourbon"

Only bonnie drank damon was shocked

"well Mercedes turns out it wasn't you"

"ok my go never have I ever...um wow this is hard ooo I know never have I ever slept with my brothers girlfriend"

Damon glared at me and drank

Damon wanted to get his own back
"never have I ever killed my parents"
I smiled then downed the rest of the bourbon from the bottle

"I think you have had enough" bonnie said taking the bottle away"

"give that back" I tried to say but my words were slurring

"come on off to bed" somone said I couldn't see because I had collapsed but could still hear

He rose his hand chanting another spell my whole body ached, my nose blead and black spots appearing everywhere

STOP! PLEASE!

I gasped as I woke up kai was now sitting up

"hey, hey are you OK?"

He layed back down patting his chest for me to lay down he twisted my hair in his hands. I didn't know what to say and we fell back to sleep

AUTHOR NOTE:

Ahhhhh Mercedes and kai are so cute but bonnie and Damon aren't a big fan
Mercedes clearly has some secret issues will she tell kai or will she bottle them up?
