Kai woke me up and told me that Damon and bonnie had gone out to gather things so we can go back home he told me while I was asleep they talked about getting home.

I had the worst headache in the world I didn't normally drink and downing nearly a whole bottle of bourbon was not a great idea.

" I need to go out will you be OK here" kai said while I was in a daydream thinking of how much of an idiot I was last night and how sweet kai was.

"umm yeah ill be fine"

Kai left and I had the whole day to myself so I went down the stairs and made myself a sandwich and started singing I missed music from my era

"so before you go..."

I also missed my guitar I used to play it everyday but I couldn't find a guitar I liked here they just weren't my guitar.

I decided I'd sit and what films all day and changed into joggers and a t-shirt.

I heard a crash from the other room
And thought kai was back so walked in I couldn't believe it...

No they are not real they are not real.

"mercy I'm back-"

"MERCY! WHERE ARE YOU"

I stood there staring at them

"hey I was calling you"

I turnt around and kai was standing there I looked back to see....

Nothing?...
where did they go or maybe I was seeing things again

"you look like you've seen a ghost"
kai laughed I laughed aswell still slightly shaken up

"so can I have pork rinds now or are we having dinner in a minuet?"

kai said this but I was still trying to figure out what the hell just happened

"yeah yeah whatever"

I said not really listening.

Kai picked up on this and noticed I wasn't listening

"so I can cut out your spleen aswell right"

"yeah sure go ahead"

He grabbed my hand dragging me to the kitchen and sat me down I was still in shock not sure if I'd seen them or not.

Damon walked up to me slapping me round the face which immediately made me snap out of it

"see I told you she just needed a slap round the face" damon laughed then sat down to drink his bourbon.

Bonnie and kai started telling me that they now had everything to get us out of the prison world and we would be going tommorow so to bring anything I wanted with me.

I had found this necklace the first day I got here it had a ring on it with little tiny engravings of flowers and grass it was the cutest thing id ever seen so I made sure to put it in a bag of all the stuff to bring.

"kai what time is it"

"oh only like 6am"

"kai get out before I kill you"

"wow and to think I made you breakfast"

Awww kai had made me breakfast was he going soft on me.

Kai was now walking out the bedroom
"wait for me then" I ran up to him ruffling up his hair

We all sat down eating breakfast and then got ready to leave we had to wait for the eclipse so me and damon went and found more supplies while kai and bonnie sorted out the spell.

"ready to go" bonnie said as me and damon got back.

"where's kai"

"Mercedes he is bad for you"

"bonnie I love you but if you don't tell me where he is ill rip out your throat"

I said though gritted teeth I turnt around because I thought I heard kai and he was laying there and he had been stabbed in the chest I let out a cry and started to walk up to him but felt a sharp stab in my back and my neck got snapped.

When I woke up I felt a pain in my chest I knew I was back in the normal world and my point was proven when Caroline walked in with my guitar but I didn't want it I wanted kai...

"where's kai?"

I knew he wasn't here but a part of me hoped he had managed to get back

"Mercedes look bonnie and Damon did what's best for you they -"

"if they knew what's best for me they would have brought kai back... Caroline I think I love him."
