"Are you sure this is what you want?" Loki asked looking into Kiahs eyes.
"I am." Kiah replied smiling. Kiah turned and hugged her sister.
"Visit any time. Any time at all!" Diana said crying a bit into her sister's embrace.
"I will. I promise. Take care of the family for me. Especially Vic, he's a softy."
Diana stepped through the portal and Strange left after.
Loki and Kiah stood infront of a brownstone in Brooklyn. "This is home." Kiah said.
"This is home." Loki replied
It had been months sense Thanos was defeated and Loki and Kiah stayed behind in order to help Loki's universe get back on track. Kiah grew more accustomed to her new role as an Avenger. She hadn't planned on staying but she soon felt a pull on her heart whenever she was around the Avenger team. She felt like she belonged there. Loki expressed to her that he wished to stay and repair his relationship with his brother. He thought she would object but to his surprise, she agreed. They soon decided that this was home. After a lengthy conversation with Diana and Arthur Diana finally agreed that this is where her sister belonged. They stayed at Stark Tower for a while before allowing Tony to help them find a permanent residence. Bucky insisted on Brooklyn. Loki was extremely picky on the residence he would choose to stay in, considering he was used to more extravagant accommodations. But Kiah enjoyed the idea of having a small cozy home to spend her days with Loki in. She wanted something more normal. She was still an amazon warrior at heart, but deep down...she wanted something more personal, more comforting.
After moving into their new home Loki and Kiah seemed to settle into their new lives in New York very well. Thor came over almost daily to spend time with Loki. At first this annoyed Loki a bit. But knowing how much Thor missed him he welcomed it. They would have their daily morning coffee and usually talk about how annoying Tony was. Then they would head to Stark Tower to work for the day. Kiah worked with S.H.I.E.L.D. as their new recruit training instructor. Helping new agents learn the newest and strongest fighting tactics. Loki helped Bruce in the lab. He was extremely intelligent and decided he would use his brains for good instead of evil.
One day a knock came to the brownstones door. Kiah opened it to find Strange standing in normal clothing for once at her door. He was holding an envelope.
"You knocked. How odd." Loki said from behind Kiah placing his hand on her hip.
"I did. Here, an invitation. Couldn't exactly send it through the mail." Strange said handing the letter to Kiah. She looked at him puzzled. She opened the letter and smiled.
"You are invited to the wedding of Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince." Kiah said smiling.
5 MONTHS LATER
"You really do treat me like a taxi you know that?" Strange said with a smile.
"You love it!" Kiah said walking through the portal to Diana and Bruce's wedding with Loki at her side. Strange just rolled his eyes and closed the portal behind her.
The guests arrived at a beautiful large church in the center of Gotham City. Only the best for Bruce Wayne. He could afford it. But then again, so could Diana. The ceremony started and Diana walked down the aisle, Arthur at her side. It was beautiful and elegant just like Diana was. At the reception Diana and Kiah danced the most with each other. Laughing and joking just like when they were children.
"Could be you one day." Arthur said to Loki taking a sip of his beer.
"Oh no, not marriage. But we don't intend on parting any time soon." Loki said.
"You don't want to get married?" Arthur asked Loki.
"I don't mind either way. Kiah doesn't seem to want it. She said she's perfectly content in how her life is currently. Maybe one day she will want a celebration to honor our commitment... but I doubt she will."
"Does that bother you?"
"Not in the slightest. She is my life. Ill never leave her side. With or without a marriage contract." Loki smiled to himself. Their relationship was anything but traditional. But they liked it that way. Kiah looked over to Loki from the dance floor and then made her way over to him.
"Enjoying yourself?" She asked him with a wide smile.
"Of course." Loki smiled back.
"Does this make you want to get married?" Kiah asked.
"Maybe. But you know I don't need this to know you love me." Loki said assuring her.
"Maybe we will just have the party. Call it an anti-wedding." She laughed then did a little dance.
"Sounds wonderful darling." Loki smiled at his lover then placed a kiss upon her lips.
"Forever it is." Loki told her softly.
"Forever it is."
*authors note*
okay thats it! I might add to this story but as of right now I feel as though it is finished. A short one, I know but I have a feeling that this is all that was needed for Kiah and Loki's story. Maybe in the future they will go on other adventures, but for now this is it.
