Flashback**

"I love you so much B.", he told me.

"I love you more Carter Finnly.", I told him with a smile.

He leaned in and kissed me deep and passionate. Pulling away, I looked into his eyes and kissed him once more.

"Please don't go."

"Carter, you know I have.", I told him.

"No. You can stay here. I'll help you get through this.", he replied.

"I love you Carter, just know that.", I said.

"I do. I'll always love you."

With that he kissed me passionately. I pulled away, tears sliding down my face. His eyes beginning to tear up, as I turned and walked away.

End of flashback**

"Bailey get up!", Alaric yelled from behind my door.

"I'm up, I swear!" I yelled back, before raising my head from my pillow.

Today was the day Klaus preformed his spell. He already had a witch from a different town. He had some of Bonnies blood, from who knows where. Now he just needed to gather his people.

Elena was one of my closest friends and it was upsetting to know that she had to die. Bonnie told us all that she had a plan to stop Klaus, but I knew I had to interfere.

I jumped up from my bed and dressed for the day. Alaric was downstairs eating breakfast as I walked past him and grabbed his keys.

"And where are you going?", he questioned.

"Out. I'll be back soon enough, I promise.", I told him.

"Okay. Just be safe."

With that I left toward his car. I drove up to the Mikaelsons to talk to Klaus about the spell tonight.

************************************************

"I'm back!", I said, while using my power to swing the door open.

"Bailey, you break my door and you'll pay.", Klaus shouted at me as I walked in.

"I was only making my presence known.", I snapped back.

"Trust me darling, I could hear your arrogance, before you left your car.", he fired back.

"Rude!", I said, acting hurt.

I walked past him, entering the living room. Elijah was no where to be seen. And Rebekah, I was told, was off shopping, but I figured she had been daggered.

In the little time of our friendship, I have learned a lot. Not to mess with Klaus, siblings often get daggered, Klaus couldn't be daggered, Elijah was very noble, and the siblings were constantly fighting, but they loved each other.

"So, tell me. How was the date?", he asked, taking a seat on the couch next to me.

"It went swell.......we might have kissed.", I told him.
