I sped towards my house hoping Alaric would talk to me. When I got there Elena was inside the house. I knew if I went in there Elena would be upset. I just hoped she hadn't told him about last night.
I got out of the car and knocked on the door."Bailey?", Alaric questioned before he grabbed me and wrapped me in his arms.
"I was worried sick about you kid. Where have you been?", he asked.
"I can't say anything. I have a lot to tell you.", I told him walking through the door.
Elena was sat down on the couch. She glanced up at me with hatred in her eyes.
"Elena could you leave, so I can talk to Bailey. I swear we'll get back to this soon.", Alaric said, turning to her.
"Why?! So she can kill you?!", Elena shouted.
"Leave Elena! Now!", I shouted and she immediately left. It was as if I compelled her. I had no clue I could do that.
Once Elena left, Alaric looked at me in shock.
"What's going on?", Alaric asked."Alaric I need you to sit down.", I told him.
He sat down and I begin to explain.
"So you're a doppelgänger and a witch? You are more powerful then a Bennett witch? And we're still related, but you're a Ursoro?", he repeated everything I had just told him.
"That's not all Alaric."
"What do you mean Bailey? What happened?", Alaric questioned.
"It's all my fault!", I exclaimed, falling into his arms.
"Bailey, just explain."
"Alaric. She's gone. She's gone, because of me.", I said letting out my sobs.
"You- you killed Jena?"
"Yes, it was me.", I said, although it wasn't really me. Klaus had killed her twice.
"It was, because Klaus made you.", he said, trying to comfort me.
"No, because he is my best friend. I didn't know she was the one that would be taken. I only knew of Elena, I swear.", I looked up at him.
He was in a state of shock, looking straight forward. "You're telling me you're friends with the guy that wants us all dead?"
"That's not true. He'll do whatever he needs to protect his family and loved ones.", I said.
"You let him kill your friend?"
"I had no choice. It had to be done.", I told him straight.
"You said he'll protect who ever he loves. That includes you, I assume. So, I think you should stay there.", he told me.
"What?", I asked in shock.
"Bailey, I love you a lot, but I don't want anyone hurting you and I'm in no right state to protect you. Be safe. I forgive you."
"I love you Alaric. But you have no right to forgive me. I'll accept what you say and I'll be staying with the Mikaelsons, but don't forgive me, not right now. I don't deserve it."
He gave me a big hug before leading me out the door. My next stop was back to the Mikaelsons. I'm sure they would love to here I was moving in.
Flashback**
(Before my parents death)"Bailey, you need to understand!", my mom yelled.
"No! How could you?! You and Dad, send me away like I'm nothing!", I shouted back.
"We love you sweetheart.", my Dad said, joining the conversation.
"Then tell me. Why are you trying to send me away to Uncle Alaric?! I've never met him, I never knew about him until tonight.!", I shouted
"We want you safe. Alaric can protect you!", Mom shouted
"Safe from what?!", I yelled.
End of Flashback**
**********************************************
I made it to the Mikaelsons and parked my car. I walked through the door noticing no one was home. The house was completely empty. I made my way to the table, that had a note left on it.
Dear Bailey,
We have all left to go speak with my Mother and Finn over some coffee. Yes, my crazy Mother is back. In fact, she arranged a ball for tomorrow. I figured you would return. In case anything went wrong, I cleared a room for you and left the invite on your bed. I also left you a little present to show my appreciation. Kol and Rebekah plan on helping you with your magic later. Although Kol says that you seem even more powerful then he had ever heard of. Be safe.
Love your best friend,
KlausI finished reading the note and headed up to my new room. I had no clothes, so I would have to pack my stuff from Alaric's soon. Great a ball. That means that I'll have to see everyone who hates me.
I could invite Matt. I would hope he would go. I know that he was mad, as well as everyone else, but I still deeply enjoyed there presence. I was still only a junior and I needed friends to survive next year.
I made it up to my room and looked around seeing the interior. Klaus had decorated for me and I was enjoying the way he designed it. Klaus knew Elena was alive and he had already found out Hybrids weren't able to be created without her blood.
He told me he was almost thankful for Bonnie. She saved his one blood supply. My thoughts were scrambled when I heard a loud slam. I knew someone was home. Before I headed downstairs, I sent a text to Matt and asked him to the ball. I threw my phone next to a box with a note on it. Before I could look at it, I decided to check out the ruckus downstairs.
"What's going on?", I asked, not knowing who was there.
"We'll love, you see. My brother Kol, has already made Rebekah mad. It's annoying bickering and I can't handle it.", Klaus said annoyed.
"Hey, you'll be fine. I'm sure they'll calm down. Want a drink?", I asked.
"I'll take one, but although I appreciate you, I will not allow a kid to drink in my home.", he said, with a smile.
"It was worth a try", I said rolling my eyes.
"Did you get my presents?", he asked.
"Yes, but I was unable to open them due to the ruckus coming from down here.", i smarted off.
"My bad Love, I'll leave you to that."
"And where are you going?", I asked.
"I need to get back to my siblings. Be good please.", he said walking off.
"Always Klaus!", I yelled as he walked out the door.
