Chapter Ten/ The Ball

Flashback**

"Ma'am open up!", someone yelled from behind my door.

Two cop cars sat in the road in front of my house.

"Hello, officers. What's going on?", I asked.

"Sweetheart, you need to listen. We're sorry to inform you, but your parents are gone.", he said.

The words came rushing at me. It felt as if I was hit by a car.

"Gone?", I asked, shaken by his words

He nodded his head and looked down. I crashed to my knees, sobbing in pain.

"Listen sweetie. We spoke to your uncle. He's coming to get you. Well wait for him here.", the officer said getting on his knee.

I cried and cried until it went dark and I was in my bedroom with all my bags packed.

End of Flashback**

The morning light poured through the seems of the curtain. I rolled over to get my eyes out of the light. The box Klaus had given me sat next to me, unopened.

I finally sat up, realizing what today had in-store. I checked my phone to see Matt had answered me.

"I would love to B.", he text.

I lit up with a smile and hopped out of bed. I turned back, to open the box that was lying on my bed. It was neatly wrapped with a bow. The invitation still on top.

I grabbed the invintation and slid it in my sock drawer, to keep. I undid the bow and pulled the top off the box. Inside sat a dress that was beautiful. It's blue lace bottom, that puffed out, creating a magical gown shape. The top was a silk blue v neck top, that sat perfectly with the lace. The sleeves sat on the upper arm, just below the shoulders.

I pulled it out of the box and hung it up before heading downstairs. As I entered the living room, all of the Mikaelsons sat down discussing something. Finn and Esther were lot there however.

"Sister, if this is true. We will have to kill him tonight!", Klaus spoke, with anger.

"What is going on?", I asked, entering the room.

"My siblings were just discussing what to do with our parents.", Elijah spoke up.

"Parents? Like plural? They're both awake?", I asked.

"It appears so.", Rebekah said acting smart, but you could sense her fear.

"Well, then.........I'm going to kill the bastard.", I spoke out bluntly.

Klaus looked at me with a shocked expression.

"Young witch. I know that you are powerful, but stopping a Bennett witch doesn't prove you can stop Mikael.", Elijah said.

"I know, but I have faith in myself.", I said, confidently.

"Darling, confidence won't get you anywhere, but dead if you can't actually do anything", Kol said smarting off.
