Chapter 2- The Bet

Harry Potter's POV

The next morning I woke up to one pair of beautiful grey eyes looking at me. I murmured you stayed and then closed my eyes to the sensitivity of the brightness and still being tired then the events of the recent morning came flooding back to me. I shot my eyes open at once (oops must have fell asleep with my glasses on AGAIN) and wrapped my arm around Draco's waist and crushed his lips to mine in a hard but soft and fast morning kiss. Draco's pale white snow skin went dark ruby red and shock flushed across his face but within mere seconds that reaction turned into love and realisation. I then pulled away giving us both time to breathe.

"Good Morning Draco." I managed to say breathlessly

"Good morning to you too Harry." Draco replied with more air in his lungs apparently the kiss didn't take as much air away from him as it did me.

"Did you sleep alright? How are you feeling today?" I asked truly worried that maybe he hadn't reflected everything that happened to him yesterday.

"I slept perfectly thanks to the star i slept with last night all tucked up and warm, also  I am feeling very happy and cheerful today since you helped me last night. How was your sleep you looked very peaceful and was smiling in your sleep while muttering my name are you ok?" Draco asked pleasantly concerned about me instead of himself.

"Yes don't worry i did sleep fine last night just dreaming about last night and how you where sad yet all of a sudden i come along and your not crying anymore made me sleep easier also i guess i should say thank you if it wasn't for you i would still be having nightmares about Voldemort." I opened up honestly after all Draco did so why shouldn't I? The answer is i should otherwise our relationship if that's what to call it is going to be built on lies.

"Well your welcome and if you have anymore tell me and my father will hear about this." He giggled with that he gave me a quick and soft kiss on the lips.

I then joined in with him.

After my wonderful morning with Draco we then decided we couldn't stay in bed all day we do still have seprate lives away from each other (Sadly we'd agreed) so we went off with our friends each time we saw each other we would say "I love you." Blush deeply then look away as if nothing happened.

At lunch i was hanging out with Dean, Ron, Hermione and Seamus. Me and Dean got into a little disagreement on something about chocolate frogs being better than Jelly slugs then Dean said

"If you can kiss Malfoy i will give you 10 Gallions and agree that chocolate frogs is better than jelly slugs." He smirked so i replied "if you kiss Seamus Then i will agree that Jelly Slugs are better than chocolate frogs and give you 10 Gallions" I winked  Then we simply agreed.

I saw Draco just a few feet away from me at the other end of the corridor. I took my chance then

"OI! DRACO! GET OVER HERE!" I yelled he took a few steps towards me and spoke

"What is it Harry?" blushing a bit too hard are we now hehe wait till i kiss him i thought devilishly.

"I made abet with Dean that i couldn't get you over here." Maybe i lied a little but i needed to act hesitant for them to believe me and Draco weren't a thing right now we are trying to keep on the downlow.

Dean from across the corridor yelled "NO I SAID YOU WOULDN'T HAVE THE BALLS TO KISS HIM!"

I yelled back "GIVE ME A MINUTE! Anyway-"

Draco whispered "I thought we where keeping it on the down low?"

I replied "Well if they figure us out then oh well at least they all know your mine and only mine." i winked while Draco blushed visibly

"Also i don't want to lose 10 Gallions on a bet when i could waste it on you." I continued

Following suit I slowly yet roughly put my hand on the back of Draco's neck put my other one in his back pocket of the tight black skinny jeans he was wearing and pressed my lips to his for maybe a bit longer than i should have and with that i pulled my head away and departed from him. As i walked away i looked over my shoulder meeting his shocked blissfully joy filled eyes and yelled loudly

"Thank you for the best kiss so far babe. Be prepared for another one like that tonight!"

I left a confused, blushed, broken, Draco Malfoy behind and walked back to my mates to then find that Dean was also kissing Seamus and with that we decided we both won the bet. Not long after did i find myself being questioned by Hermione to tell her what i meant by "Thanks babe for the nest kiss so far. Be expecting another one like that tonight." and followed by that Ron said Is that who you where with earlier this morning when i found you weren't in bed? And the questions became too much i then retaliated and said

"Well maybe i would have told you guys the information earlier if i wasn't to busy giving you two your couples space and yes i know about you two and how Ron sneaks off every night to have fun with Hermione. Yes i was with Draco last night because i had a nightmare, went out, found him crying, he apologised, became his true self (not the stuck up selfish one you all thought he was), then he came back to our dorm, slept in my bed, i gave him some clothes to sleep in, changed myself, drew the curtains around my bed, then found Ronald in his bed, Then fell asleep with the perfect love of my life Draco Fucking Lucius Malfoy in My arms. And woke up to the same breathe taking eyes looking back at me this morning. Jeez that felt like a life time story to explain."

Then i turned around noticing it was lunch time again and food would be ready so i left Hermione and Ron to process this news in silence while i left to the dinner hall in silence and made my way silently to the dinner hall as planned just a few moments ago.

As I made my way to the dinner hall I noticed that Draco was alone head hanging low. I wondered what happened to him this time? What upset him ? I ran over to him and gave him a hug from behind and asked what was wrong and who made him upset?

"Nothing just Goyle and Blaise are sick with too much sugar in their system and ever since Pansy found out what happened between you and me she is disgusted with how i could become gay for you and not pick her to be my girlfriends? So i'm just lonely and am anxious to hear what Goyle and Blaise will say when they find out about us as well?" Draco muttered under his breath but still loud enough for just me to hear.

"If Pansy doesn't accept you then she isn't a real friend and the same applies for Blaise and Goyle but i know for a fact they will say yes because Blaise is dating Luna so she will have given him a change in heart and Blaise is also secretly dating Ginny who will also give them both a good change in the heart treatment to be friends with you for you not money, bio, status or anything else just him exactly the same as how I love you for you not money, brains, contacts, friends or whatever just you in general." Harry boasted

By the time our little rant of love for each other was over we reached the huge double doors leading into the hall hand in hand and walked down to our houses table luckily since Gryffindor is next to Slytherin I can sit right behind him and talk while we ate our lunch.
