This time it wasn't Firdaus's arms who I was in, this time it was Sadeeq, I tried to wiggle myself free but surely it was impossible. Till I realised that Saha had forgotten to unlink us from the IV drip. Oh boy. I slightly nudged Sadeeq and he rolled over to his right.
"NO DONT" the tube was still in his arm.
I grabbed the cotton from Nexto me and quickly sanitised it while I buzzed for Saha, "ya rabi answerrr"
I removed the tube from my arm while still covering where it went into my arm with the cotton and cringed at the pain it caused. I for one hated needles. This did not help aT all. I saw the blood and became oozy. I buzzed for Saha a second time and cleaned up my arm.I turned Sadeeq to his back so that he doesn't hurt his arm from the needle and stood there contemplating wether or not I should remove it or not.
If any doctor or nurse walked in and saw that we were still hooked to the IV then no one but Saha would get into real big trouble. And knowing how exhausting yesterday night was for her. We don't want that happening to her.The door handle started to twist and I quickly covered sadeeqs arm and turned around out of fright. What was that going to even help me with man.
"Hayat?"
Phew, I turned around and ran to hug Firdaus.
"You scared the living life out of my living soul""Where'd Saha go?" Firdaus asked as she let out a yawn.
"She doesn't answer the buzzes and she forgot to unlink me and That bear over there from the IV" I said pointed at Sadeeq who was yet fast asleeep.
"NO WAY YOU'RE KIDDING" she ran to his side and lifted up the blanket from his arm.
"That doesn't look good" I said cringing at it from behind her whilst blood was coming out from it.
"He was sleeping on it so I don't think it is. Can you take it out? Please please please. I nearly died taking mine out" I continued while pleading at her."Fine ofcourse I will, just grab me whatever you removed it with"
"It's bloody though"
I said while panicking"A cleannn one hayattt and Close the dOor"
"Oh a clean one. I mean well yea duh obviously that was common sense haha. Oops."
I closed the door and grabbed her the steriliser and cotton.
"One, two, three" she pulled out the tube and applied pressure on his arm with the cotton while I tapped it with the skin safety tape."Phew" we both let out whilst scared for our dear lives and for Sahas.
I hugged Firdaus and let out a sigh of relief
"You did it. Thank you honestly my life saver. And everyone's life saver hehe" I kissed her on her head and gestured her to Sadeeq to deal with all the blood and what not that came from his arm.
I buzzed for Saha again and yet no response."I'm gonna go ask for Saha okay? DONT let anyone know that she forgot to unlink me and the bear. Mashi?" I whispered as I put on my slippers.
"Yea yea ofcourse I won't. Just careful though"
I nodded and closed the door behind me.
"Judy my love, have you seen Saha?"
I politely asked the receptionist at the end of the hall. She was in her mid 40's and always had troubles with her husband, her Botox on the other hand was just screaming at your face as she spoke."Didn't she leave last night?" She asked while typing away in the keyboard.
"Ah yes uhm ah"
I confusedly said as I turned around and walked off. No help from her what so ever. Honestly.
