Chapter 9: The Awakening of the Guardian

Y/n and Shinra flew above the Whole Shinjuku area looking for any signs of Rekka.

Shinra: *eyes darted for anything suspicious* "You see anything yet Y/n?"

Y/n: *sighed in frustration* "No nothing yet!"

Y/n was more on edge more than ever before, they had been searching around for a long while for everything and jumping at the sight of something moving below than becoming even more frustrated when he learned it wasn't anything significant.

They kept looking until they heard a voice echo in the air

"SOMEBODY SAVE US!!"

Y/n and Shinra whipped their heads around and saw two Pink-Red Streaks shooting out from a Warehouse not to far from where they are.

Y/n: SHINRA LET'S MOVE!" *The two blasted off, speeding towards the Warehouse as fast as they could manage. as they flew over the Warehouse and they were able to spot him. Shinra and Y/n started decending, going faster and faster. Rekka looked and Shinra thrust his foot into his face with Y/n doing the same but with his fist as hard as they could.

Rekka: *muttered* "M...y S..tars.." *Finally his face connected with the ground making the earth underneath shatter and rumble, creating a huge crator in the pavement.*

Shinra: *walks over to a injured Tamaki* "Hey Tamaki you okay" *Tamaki choked back tears and soon felt them coming down her face as Y/n and Shinra took notice the injuries from Rekka's beatings.*

While Shinra tended to Tamaki, Y/n was beginning to waver a bit as he stared at Tamaki injuries, which allowed Rekka to get up.

Rekka: "MY STARS!!" *delivers a explosive flaming Haymaker in Y/n's face which soon causes Y/n to be engulfed in flames*

Tamaki: *shrieked* "OH NO!"

Shinra: *shouted with concern* "Y/N!"

As the smoke settles, Everyone's eyes widen with shock to see Y/n, unharmed and unscathed from the flames holding Rekka's fist in a tight grip as he pulls the culprit's fist away from his face. Rekka struggles to get free as black flame-like scales began to surround Y/n's hand and arms forming flaming claws as he reopens his eyes and reveals his feral glowing green eyes.

Y/n: *growls* "So Lieutenant- no Rekka, want to explain yourself?"

Rekka: "DON'T INTERFERE WITH MY WO-" *is cut off as Y/n delivers a devastating haymaker straight into Rekka's face launching him away into the wall of the building*

Y/n began to stomp toward Rekka as he was no longer in the mood for questioning. Rekka gets back up and see be lining toward s him.

Rekka: "FEEL MY STAR FIST JAB!" *Once again delivers a powerful punch this time in Y/n's gut letting out a shockwave behind the teen, this time launching him back but was able to stop himself.*

Shinra soon ran up to Rekka and kneed him in the face and simultaneously he punched him in his gut. Pushing though the immense pain, he manages to curl his legs around his head and jugo flipped him to the ground: putting him into an armlock."

Shinra: *Yells at him pulling harder and harder* "GIVE UP!" YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY UNTIL WE GET SOME DAMN ANSWERS!"

Rekka: *thought* "Damn! I can't pry him off! -he's stronger than anticipated* *Rekka then lifted his wrist and pludge in down into Shinra's face, making him loose his grip and was about to get out of it. Until he was immediately tackled by Y/n who proceeded to slam and forcefully drag Rekka right thru the pavement while using his thrusters to propel causing the earth around the Lieutenant to rip apart underneath him* "Agh I will never give up! I Don't care if I can't move back back because I'll always keep moving forward!" *was about to deliver another flame punch when Y/n slams him into the wall in front of him*
