Chapter 10: Captain's Meeting

It's been week since the Company 1 incident and everyone had returned to their respected Companies.

When Y/n finally reawaken 3 days later, he didn't remember anything from the fight, all except Rekka saying something to him about a Guardian or Something and feeling really cold for some reason.

Luckily Shinra informed Y/n about what happened...and he couldn't believe what he was being told.

At the moment Y/n was lying in bed, looking up at the ceiling not doing anything just thinking.

Y/n: 'What's happened? Why is this happening to me?! Is this why...'They' did all that stuff to me..' *thinking about his 'demons causing him to snarl and slam his fist straight into the wall causing it to crack* "Dammit! All of this crap about the Evangelist and this 'Gamera' makes no sense!"

He soon hears the door opening causing him to shoot up and sees it was Maki.

Maki: "Were you doing something Y/n?" 

Y/n: *sighs* "No..not really just...thinking is all.." 

Maki: "Oh okay, anyways Captain needs us for a meeting."

Y/n sighs and got out of bed. He tied his boots on, walking out the door with Make. They were walking in complete silence for a few minutes.

Maki: *finally asking* "So...How are you coping with this whole thing?"

Y/n: *turns his head* "I'll live.." *Maki frowned at his answer*

Maki: "Y/n, I know you're still in shock about yesterday, but we're all here for you. I'm here for you." *Y/n looked at her wide eyed looked as Maki continued* "We're going to find out everything I promise! We won't rest until we do, until we found out everything and we WILL bring the White-Clad to justice! We'll make sure of it!" 

Y/n was a bit taken aback by Maki's serious tone since she's always a very cheerful and funny person, and he was thankful for it...but..

Y/n: "Thanks...Maki...you really kind person you know that?" *sounding genuine however unsure*

Maki: *giddily while blushing* "Awww Really? Golly Thank you so much!"

They made it Captain Obi's office and opening the door and saw Shinra inside as well.

Obi: "Hello you two, please come in." *They walked in and stood at ease as Captain Obi began to talk* "After yesterday's incident the Holy Sol Temple wants all of us to attend a meeting with all the 7 other Fire Force Captain to discuss it, including Tamaki of Company 1"

Shinra: *no one yet noticed how Y/n tensed up for a second except for Obi*  "Um Sir if I may? You said it's a Captain meeting right? So why are we coming along."

Obi: "Because you three are our best sources on the incident and can give through reports. Also the Emperor of Japan ordered it." *Everyone looked surprised at this tid bit of information.* "Alright that's it, we'll be rolling in 10, So be ready by then Dismissed."

Everyone  saluted and walked expect for Maki, who was still standing.

Maki: *confused* "Sir, why exactly am I coming? I wasn't even there when the situation transpired?"

Obi: *sighs* "Y/n is going through something none of us and ever will comprehend. Besides...I feel like there's something he's not willing to share with us...and you've been the closest to him.."

Maki was a bit surprised by the Captain's words, she couldn't really argue. She wanted Y/n to feel safe especially since a lot of pressure would be on him.
