Protective Love

Goodnight Nurse

After some time the day to go to the Goodnight Nurse concert soon came round. Me and Frank now had our own apartment in the centre of New Jersey. It's small but hey, it's a start.

Frank hums quietly to himself as he packs his bags with the tickets, a blanket and some money before putting on his jacket and slipping his bag on his back. "Are you ready to go?" He asks me as he walks to the front door.

"Yes!" I shout from the bathroom. I run out excitedly and jumps at Frank, giggling.

"Oi!" He chuckles. "C'mon we wanna get there early so we're near the first."

I nod, taking hold of Frank's hand and we walk outside.

After a thirty minute ride in the car we arrive at the O2 Academy New Jersey. We get out the car an Frank grabs his bag. I take hold of Frank's hand and we walk together towards the building.

"There's only two people here. Are you sure this is the right place?" I ask Frank concerned.

"Yeah, this is the right place." Frank looks up at the sign. He then takes out his phone and checks the time. "We're four hours early, babe. That's why there's hardly anyone here."

"Oh right.." I giggle.

I'm stupid.

"C'mon." Frank leads me into the queue and sits down.

"We're going to sit on the freezing cold floor for four hours?"

"I brought a blanket, silly." Frank chuckles, grabbing the blanket out from his bag and laying in on the floor before sitting on it. I smile softly and sits down beside him, snuggling into his chest.

4 hours later

Two guards walk out the front entrance and tells us all to stand up, Frank packs away the blanket in his bag before we start moving forward slightly. One of the guards then walks towards us and tells us to take out our tickets. We do as he says and he scans our tickets before he lets us walk inside the building. Frank grabs hold of my hand as we're soon crushed by a crowd of people. Frank pulls me through the people and takes me to the front. "Thanks." I smile at Frank.

"Anything to get my baby a good view." Frank grins and kisses me softly.

I giggle quietly and kisses him back before we start getting crushed by all the people as the stage crew start to set up the drum kit, microphones, guitar amps.

They then walk backstage and we wait twenty minutes before the members of Goodnight Nurse walk on stage. Everyone cheers and screams out their names and reaches their arms out towards the stage. The music then starts and everyone yells out.

So there we were, me and Frank having the time of our lives. Surrounded by great music, cool people and each other. I'm so lucky to have Frank it's unbelievable..

Seven hours later and the show is nearly over. Frank looks over at me and sees I'm looking quite tired, he grins and grabs hold of my hand, taking me away from the crowd of people and out the building. I smile at him softly and blushes as he pushes me up against the wall and kisses me softly. "Did you enjoy today?"

"I loved it. Thank you for this, Frankie. You're the best." I wrap my arms around Frank's neck.

"Lets go home?"

I nod then Frank and I starts walking towards the car park.

When Frank and I get home we fall into bed straight away, I giggle and Frank pulls me to him, holding me protectively. I slowly close my eyes, feeling myself drifting off to sleep.

Everything is so perfect now. I have Frank, we're living in our own apartment, school is going okay. It's too perfect to be true, but most of it doesn't really matter. As long as I have Frank, I will always be happy.
